I recently purchased my iPhone and was assisted by Lorraine — her customer service was absolutely outstanding. She was incredibly patient, took the time to explain everything clearly, and made sure I felt comfortable with my decision. Even when I had lots of questions, she remained calm, professional, and genuinely kind throughout the whole process. It’s rare to find someone so attentive and caring in customer service these days, and Lorraine truly went above and beyond. I walked away not only happy with my new phone but also very impressed with the experience. Thank you, Lorraine!
Almost impossible to get any help in this store today. Empty hand sanitiser bottles at counter, very weird placement of products making them impossible to find without a staff member. Like why not put the refills for refillable pens, next to the refillable pens! Is that a little too logical!nnThe staff were fine, hence time 2 stars but I think store management could do a lot better.
I went in-store today and was hoping to swap my laptop in for a gift card, the first staff member I found was a middle-aged white woman, really pale complexion and blue eyes, I hate to be so specific in describing her but I want her to be identifiable as the interaction that followed was suspect and left me feeling unsafe.nI’d argue that customer to employee trust is vital to a healthy business. That trust was shaken today.nOff the bat, she spoke to me with an air of authority which I ignored, however I couldn’t ignore her following actions.nnI asked her if the Fitzroy store offers the tech trade-in service, to which she responded ‘yes, I’ll grab your laptop off you and you put the charger in the disposal bin’. Initially trusting her advice I inched towards the disposal area, before prompting her again asking how I could receive the gift card in exchange for my donation.nShe then handed me the paper pamphlet that outlines the steps required for the trade-in process, while chuckling with her coworkers for no apparent reason. She followed this up by telling me to take the pamphlet home and read up about how it all works.nnIn saying this, she still hasn’t returned my laptop to me and is looking at me silently as though she expects me to leave empty handed with this pamphlet alone.nI was surprised at how much I had to pry any of this information out of her, had I been in her position I would’ve offered up the pamphlet upfront and definitely not taken a customers personal belongings off them without their informed consent.nnFinally, I asked her “how would anyone be able to know which laptop I am trading-in, if I walk out of here and do this entire online process without the laptop in question?”. She proceeded to stare at me while reluctantly giving me back my computer and stating the obvious, that I should take all of my stuff back with me and return with my electronics after completing the required steps.nOn that note, I thanked her, for some reason then walked away.nnThis behaviour made it seem as though she had her own personal motivations in withholding this information from me and repeatedly encouraging me to leave the premises without my tech. At which point, you could very easily argue that she had tried to rob me, using deception and preying on my lack of information coming into the situation as leverage.nnIt was clear that she did not have my best interests, or the company’s best interests in mind. And moving forward I am open to being contacted on the matter.
Constantly understaffed. Print counter staff lack basic printing knowledge. The quality of the photo kiosk printers is god awful and the kiosk system itself is very slow and generally a bad user experience.
It took 45 min to print and bind 80 b&w A4 pages.nnThe self-serve printing system is not intuitive and doesn't make things quicker for the customer.nnThe counter was understaffed and the equipment not working properly.
