Happily charging like wounded bulls. Used to bulk bill. I had an appt that was 50 mins late - decided I’d do the right thing and take up as little time as possible for the doctor to get back on track - spent max. 3 mins of his time to simply renew a script of mine….. and was charged $75 for a 10 min consultation. By rights, he should have informed me I’d be charged that amount, and I would’ve spent the other time discussing other ailments.
Saw Dr Tara Frommer for my first appointment at Ochre Medical Centre and she was amazing. On time for the appointment and took time a care to understand my situation. Look forward to continue to see her for any future GP appointments.
Dr Kerrie Aust is one of the best doctors in Canberra. Reception staff are always friendly and helpful.
Dr Betty Ge is a most lovely GP! She is thorough and explains the options available. I am glad to have her as my GP!
my GP is amazing - but Ochre - who administers the Dr’s - are unhelpful as they require a credit card for you to make an appointment online or App - not good - this pre-empts any potential bulk billing by the Dr, etc. Also Ochre wants me to trust them with my credit card details - in this day and age that’s not on!
Tooky son there and waited an hour past the appointment time. It seems to be like any large medical centre. Friendly, professional and entirely soulless and focused on making money

Went to get a mole checked. 40 minutes late, saw doctor for 5 mins, told to come back in a week and was charged 109 dollars, quality has gone downhill.
Doctor M.Thomson is amazing. He explained everything to my 14 year old son on his medication for mental health. His very patient and caring. We will definitely be keeping him for the care of my sons health.
