Like my second home….. love this gym so much! supper friendly staff and great equipment, love the classes and layout of the gym makes me very comfortable. The only thing i wish it would be open for longer in the evening, especially on the weekends!!
Great gym, welcoming atmosphere
Great gym. Staff are awesome and friendly.
Had the opportunity to use this great facility when on holiday in Papamoa recently. The gym is very well stocked with really modern equipment, and plenty of them, so never any waiting. I also attended the aqua aerobics, yoga and pilates classes. The instructors were lovely, encouraging, and always ready to give individual feedback and assistance when required. The gym staff were really friendly and helpful, this is obviously a very well managed and popular facility and we hope to be back!

The manager, Sue, is a wonderful down to earth lady who cares about her members and staff alike. And we all know happy staff makes for a happy environment. Very social, everyone just chats away to each other. Great equipment. Great pool, spa and sauna. The atmosphere is so relaxed, just like being in your own home gym.
Best gym in Papamoa, only thing need to be change is timing. It should be open 24/7 Difficult to reach in opening hours, specially after work.
Great gym, has the friendliest and most sociable atmosphere I've found at a gym. Staff and regulars greet you and the aqua and dance classes with Tanya are some of the most entertaining with her music, amazing attitude and attention to each individual person - she will adjusted any move to suit your bad back/knee/mood ; great to get this too service
Perks of this gym over other gyms include the spa and pool being for gym members only. There is a separate functional room for hiit training. They now have a PT that can do body scanning which is far more accurate. The trainers who take the classes have fab personalities. I can't speak for all if the PTs but of you join and can manage to get a weekly spot or 2 with Tanya you will be very happy with the training and the results. I have had several PTs over the past 15 years she is by far the best. There is also a great circuit room that your can go around to a beep working all your muscles for a quick total workout. In comparison to Baywave which has a pool also, I find the staff at Oceanblue more friendly, they know who you are if you actually go regularly, they are supportive of your journey. 110% recommend Oceanblue.
