I think this hotel advertising as a 4 star is very generous. I do not consider it to be 4 star standards.nnThere is some great stuff and some not so great…nnThe hotel generally is dated and pretty tired. Our room, an executive family room was adequate, good size for what we paid but very grubby around the edges. Poly cotton sheets were scratchy and unpleasant. I just tried not to look at the gross dirty ridges on the wardrobe doors. Cracked ceilings and mold edges in the bathroom, holes in our curtains. Generally in need of some TLC.nnThe breakfast was a standard buffet affair the food was nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. The service in the restaurant was great both in the morning and evening. Super friendly staff.nnThe waterpark was amazing fun and a definite pull for my kids. My son tore his foot open on a raised screw on the deck though so wear shoes!!!nnIt’s a very family friendly hotel, we had a nice time here as it’s a good base for exploring the area, but would we go again? Not likely.
Clean rooms, comfortable layout of the whole complex and great facility. Good prices, friendly staff. Mini golf course is awesome. Water park is great, deeper water great for playing in and laying in with little kids, big long slides hard for adults but great for kids. A lot of seats and shady areas around the facilitiesnLittle painted surprises in the gardens to look out for. Easy to push a pram around the whole complex
stayed in a one bedroom apartment, room was too small for a cot to be placed in the room with us to sleep with our newborn. we tried to upgrade to a king suite and was told by one staff member that we would have to pay the full price for the room we booked and pay an additional booking for the new room. next day a different staff member told me it was possible to change but the studio suite would not have a kitchen which might not be suitable for cleaning bottles with a newborn. totally different response.nwe stayed for 4 nights out room was only cleaned once as I called and requested it be vacuumed. later that day I still had to ask for fresh towels and toilet paper. The restaurant food was great but overall not a good place to stay. I don’t recommend staying here.
Great location, receptionist was super friendly. Pool was relaxing. However, I did book a balcony, we were on the ground floor. We were on a tight schedule the day of arrival so I didn’t want to bring it up. So myself and my partner pushed for time. We were given a room that was near to what we booked so we could get ready. So really my fault for not saying anything.
Just across the Rd from Woolworths which is very handy but the raving of the kids area is less to be desired. We were called 4 nights before our stay to say the water park wasn't operating this should never ever happen at a family resort on a weekend but told still so much for the kids to do.... Mini put needs to be upgraded, climbing area is for big kids only and the tramp was good but that's really it if the water park is closednIt's also heavily overdue for a revamp the rooms are nice but very tired and only 5 tv channels to choose from. Would consider other options before here for our next family holiday also make sure you get a room away from the lifts as it's incredibly noisy
