My daughter Granddaughter and I had a lovely break. The rooms were fresh and clean. Warm and an extra blanket. The water park was great for my granddaughter. The restaurant served a beautiful Lamb Shank. Big serve.nA great stay and we will be back on my next vacation on sunny coast.nPolite staff. Recommend this Resort.
If you like sharing your room with ants, then this is your place. Even so, the room was suitable with a little outdoor patio. Plenty of hot water. Bed was comfortable. What let the place down the most, was their pond, which stunk. It should be drained and refilled. We were going to have a meal at the restaurant but this put us off. Reasonably priced though.
Great kids facilities, would be nice if the playground opened a bit earlier. Wifi was not working in the sunset wing. For the price we did expect it to be a little more luxurious and fully serviced. Location was good. Having our own laundry facility was great. Having a poolside bar was great.
Unhappy stay - don’t come in winter time or if you have big kids. The pool was ice cold and unusable and the spa super hot. The kids water playground was supposed to be the highlight but was disappointing because it is only suitable for tiny toddlers. My kids are 9 and 11 and they claimed it was suitable up to 12 yr old but the water level is extremely shallow and my 11 yr old hurt himself when he came out of the slide since there wasn’t any water for him to support him and just landed hard on the tiled floor.nThe rooms were good but they don’t have daily housekeeping unless you stay more than 5 nights they do it once. I was there 6 nights and they claimed they would do housekeeping mid week but didn’t and after I complained they didn’t apologise at all. The floor was very dirty especially in the bathroom but they sent someone to make the beds only 1 day before we were supposed to leave.nThe windows are not sealed well and you could hear all the noise outside very loudly.nThe only good thing was that the food at the restaurant was delicious. However, they lack accessibility since their disabled access door was always closed so I had to get my husband to come in to open the door which I wasn’t happy about.nIn summary, will never be coming back here again.
I think this hotel advertising as a 4 star is very generous. I do not consider it to be 4 star standards.nnThere is some great stuff and some not so great…nnThe hotel generally is dated and pretty tired. Our room, an executive family room was adequate, good size for what we paid but very grubby around the edges. Poly cotton sheets were scratchy and unpleasant. I just tried not to look at the gross dirty ridges on the wardrobe doors. Cracked ceilings and mold edges in the bathroom, holes in our curtains. Generally in need of some TLC.nnThe breakfast was a standard buffet affair the food was nothing special but nothing wrong with it either. The service in the restaurant was great both in the morning and evening. Super friendly staff.nnThe waterpark was amazing fun and a definite pull for my kids. My son tore his foot open on a raised screw on the deck though so wear shoes!!!nnIt’s a very family friendly hotel, we had a nice time here as it’s a good base for exploring the area, but would we go again? Not likely.
