Small, dark, and depressing. Not sure if they sell anything else other than fish because fish are the only things on display. Fish range isn't great either. But they have a great variety of discus and angels in particular - one of the best in Melbourne in terms of those species I think. In general, this shop only worth a visit if you're after discus and angels specifically.

The shop front  looks  better  than inside! Very dark inside  the shop very bad musty  smell .I Recommend  dont  go there! one of the fish tanks  had a dead fish  in it.i give a

They are discus specialists. Rare to find an aquarium actually breeding discus that you can view. People that have posted negative reviews need to think that they must be doing a lot right to be successfully breeding them. Shop is small, dark and cramped  but that didn’t worry me. Staff were polite and helpful. Prices were reasonable for the size of the large discus on sale. They have more smaller discus coming so I’ll be back to check those out. Fish all looked healthy.

I must admit, the customer service and shop is a little old school, but this guy knows his fish and his discus are some of the best in the country. Fair prices for quality fish...The shop is definitely geared towards experienced fish keepers... probably not the best place for a first timer or newbie fish keeper. Some nice goldfish too.

Awesome selection of Discus, very knowledgeable and helpful if you take the time to listen. I had lost a few fish bought from other aquariums in the area and was constantly being sold treatments and medications I simply didn't need. Oakleigh Aquarium helped me fix the issues I had and my tank has never looked better or healthier. Highly recommend!!!

They have an okay range of fish mainly discus, angels and goldies. BUT I do question why they have discus and angels in with gold fish, either the goldfish are in water way to warm or the other is way to cold... pretty much putting tropical fish with cold water fish. Also no good for buying aquarium products filter media etc..

Minus 1000 stars. Worst service experience ever. He was so rude. I asked for chichlid food and he gave me a bag with no label on it. When I asked what’s the brand he told me some big French bag and that he’s been selling it for 20 years and if I don’t want it to go to another shop. Definitely not worth spending a millisecond in there.

This is weird place to go to. Parking is hard and you have to ring a bell to be let in. Once inside of the smallish shop your pretty much on your own. It's mostly Discus and a lot of tetras but it's definitely worth visiting. There are some odd other fish and the pics are some of the best.

You won’t believe how many different types of fishes they have in that small area.  Fishes aren’t that expensive and everyone could afford to buy there.  Only odd thing that I noticed is that the Aquarium is always kept closed and people visiting should knock and the door will open. At times, the staff inside are busy and people are left standing outside for a very long time.  They sell fishes, few types of fish bowls and tanks, fish nets, fish foods etc.

This place is terrible!!!!!! Please for the love of god don’t go here! Every positive review is from him or family. Speaking of him, this guy is super weird. To get into this small tight space of a shop you have to ring a bell. He half opened the door and stared at me for a good 15 seconds saying nothing the finally let me in. The shop is so hot and the smell is gross. The conditions of some of the fish is sickening. Some were missing eyes or were blind. There were 3 huge fish that couldn’t even move in there tank. If you are wondering if I have reported him to RSPCA than yes I have. Please never go here!!!!!!!
