Had dinner here with my husband for our wedding anniversary. Very intimate setting, good attentive service, and extensive wine menu. The calamari entree was the most delicious calamari I’ve ever had. The duck and beef main were also good. Chef kindly gave us a complimentary dessert which was really different but extraordinary. Will definitely return with family in the future.

Lovely little restaurant in the CBD of Auckland, recommended to us by the staff of the Gin Bar this place has a simple elegance with friendly staff and modern cuisine to match. Booking ahead on weekends is a good idea as there are limited seats, however if you manage to catch a table by the service window you will be able to watch the chefs plate up all the lovely meals throughout the night. Well crafted menu with attention placed on quality over quantity. Would very much recommend for a romantic evening out

Outstanding. The food, the wine the people. If you would like a night to remember - this is the place. Mark Southern renowned chef is personable and kind with diners and genius with food.

We came for the Valentines Degustation last night, I loved the service and wine but I had to season every dish with salt which was a bit disappointing, not enough flavour and not enough sauce.
