Great little place. Food was yummy, friendly staff. No sushi but still a good variety of options. Kids menu was very cheap and comprehensive. Pricin is fair.

Really lovely food and service. So authentic. Really recommend the Don sets - esp chicken teriyaki, fried chicken or salmon. Been here 3 years in a row every time we visit Cairns. Lovely atmosphere and service. Seems like a random building to enter into to go up to the restaurant but totally worth the venture.

Lovely meal. 2 of us went for lunch on a Saturday at noon opening time. The restaurant filled quickly but the one waiter served us promptly with a smile. Fantastic gyoza plus very traditional wasabi octopus to accompany our sake. Mains were delicious and filling. A very cute little place, we’ll be back. Thank you

Genuinely a hidden gem! Tucked away upstairs in a small shopping centre which is currently undergoing major renovations, is this friendly, family run, authentic Japanese izakaya style restaurant. The selection and quality of the food was faultless and the service very efficient and friendly. We could have almost been in Tokyo.

The venue is a little on the smaller side, but it adds to its charm. There's only a small team so it might take a little while for your food to arrive but the service is good and it's well worth the wait. Portions are more than generous, and good value for money. Oh, and the food tastes great!
