We tried the roast duck here for the first time , it was less fatty than other shop and delicious . We also tried soy sauce chicken and ox stomach , I think the chicken was good , ox stomach is ordinary , quite plain .
Nice roasted duck and BBQ pork. Fairly quick service despite having a line of people in the queue. Although they taste best on the day not ideal for the next day.
Always come here when I'm in the area. $13 for a generous and absolutely delicious portion of rice, crispy pork and duck is very worth it. The lady was so polite, I paid at about 11am and asked if I could come back in 10 minutes. The queue was already pretty long by then recommend going early if possible. When I returned she noticed me and kindly made it fresh on the spot without me asking. It is takeaway only but still tasted amazing an hour later at home! Will definitely be back.
Seriously the best chinese bbq meats I've had the pleasure to eat so far. I got there bout 1030am and had to wait ten minutes for the BBQ Pork and crispy skin pork. I ordered 300 grams of each and a large rice. It was $33 per kilo for both and about $4 for large rice. Seriously delicious meats meltingly good with a sweet honey sauce on bbp pork of which I said jyst a bit as I feel it over powers it. Was quite busy with Whole ducks sausage chicken feet etc Definitely go again n again n again....
This is my first time having a takeout meal here, for $13 you get a generous size of rice, vegetables and 3 different choice of protein. To my opinion, comparing to another BBQ place in campsie and Marrickville, this place is on way ahead of the others and I would highly recommend this place. It’s worth a try out!
Super quick service for take away food. Affordable price for yummy and tasty dishes. If you love to eat pork tongue, ear, stomach and intestine or beef tripe and tendon, this may be your next favourite shop.
I was looking to buy take away foods for dinner and then look at the line infront of this BBQ shop. We decided to try some of the bbq pork, pork sausage and roasted duck. The wait was not that long, the guy served the customer efficiently, asked what we want to buy, chop them and put them on the scale. The pork was crispy and the duck was delicious as well, the sausage was ok. We didn't finish everything and put the pork in fridge. To our surprise the pork skin was still fairly crunchy the day after. Well I'm sure we will back for more of the crispy pork next time.
It's called number one bbq house for a good reason come in sit down and enjoy some yummy bbq
Bought a whole roast duck , surprisingly found so many neck parts you would think you bought a roast goose. Looking at the picture you wonder is this a duck neck or a goose. I don't think a duck have a long neck as this.
Generous proportions of succulent roast duck & aromatic soy chicken on a bed of moreish noodles, served with prompt efficient service with a smile. All speaks of this as a simple and delightful specialty place. Its takeaway queue replenished itself throughout the time I was there, but could be bypassed as a patron who was eating in. Definitely will return to sample the rest of their menu, having gotten BBQ pork mmm.., and braised tendon on harder chewy side & fallopian tubes yay! as takeaway for extended food happiness. The takeaway rice dumplings were delectables that met expectations by being filled with fatty pork, salted egg yolk, beans goodness, too.
