We stayed in one of the motel rooms, with a fantastically soft & comfortable bed, on our recent trip to Broken Hill. We had 3 show dogs with us, who were accommodated in their own trailer, walked to the on site off leash area, which was a wonderful addition. The staff were excellent & cheerful, even when I had to catch another guests dogs who had escaped their small yard. Would defiantly stay here again if I go to Dubbo.
We stayed for 3 nights in a powered site. The sites were fine, simple but you don’t need much. We received a message prior to our arrival regarding recent refurbishments the park has had so we were prepared for some unfinished landscape as they described.nnAlthough we could see there was new cabins, the cleanliness and maintenance have really let this park down.nSimple things like broken gates on the children’s playground, held closed by an occy strap. The in ground trampoline which is advertised is broken and useless.nThe amenities block leaves a lot to be desired. It seems as even though the bathrooms are closed for cleaning for periods throughout the day, they are given a mere wipe over not a deep clean. You can understand the floors being muddy given the rain throughout our stay but the thick layer of grime/ dust on the hand dryers, the visible mould in the shower cubicles and the general dirty feel definitely leave a lot to be desired.nnAlthough close to everything Dubbo has to offer, the park really needs some TLC and a good clean. We’ll give somewhere else a try next time.
Good sized, drive through caravan sites with concrete slab. Not particularly attractive but functional. Staff really lovely and helpful at reception. Amenities new and great showers but not sure about the cleanliness - seemed to come and clean them but maybe quite a cursory clean?? 25 minute walk into town but 2 minute bike ride to cycle track which goes out to zoo. Felt very safe here.
Had a great weekend stay here in one of the motel rooms. 6 of us 3 adults and 3 young kids fit comfortably in the room, which was very clean and well appointed with everything you would need. The reception and housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful. A lovely touch was the housekeeping staff's welcome message and treats chocs for parents, zooper doopers in the freezer for kids! which were greatly appreciated. The pool, jumping pillow and playground were great for our kids aged 2 to 5 and the park was quiet and well maintained. We will visit again. A great base for a trip to the zoo!
Haven't stayed at NRMA Holiday Park for ages. This one didn't dissapoint. Reception staff were cheery and helpful. Pool was refreshing. BBQ Facilities were clean and easy to use. Our room was spacious. Comfy bed and fully stocked kitchen. Laundry close by allowed us to catch up after a week's travelling. Excellent experience.
