3 of us drove up from Sydney today for a 21st Birthday party, we initially booked another hotel although that fell through when we arrived.nnWe rang quite a few hotels/motels with no availability, stressed and ready to return home Cattlemen had a room available and was able to make sure it was ground level for us last one available, went above and beyond for us today!nnThe rooms are extremely clean and well kept, smart TV, hot water!!!!! Omg!!!!! Best shower in a long time!nnEasy to use motel, amazing helpful staff and central to most things needed.nnThanks again Cattlemen! You've made our very stressed day so much easier! We will definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

I booked a 2 bedroom self contained apartment for 2 nights for $430.00 upon our arrival I was asked to pay upfront and in full.nnNothing like the photos, we were very disappointed. Our apartment was dirty like it hadn’t been cleaned, the glass dining table looked like it had been wiped down with a dirty cloth. The fridge hadn’t been cleaned out after the last guest stay not to mention the dirty cutlery in the draw. No milk. 1 tea bag and so in.nI went to the front desk and spoke with a young receptionist about it all and was told she couldn’t do anything but will pass it on to the manager.nI went back that afternoon and spoke with a young man who I I assume was the manager and was informed that they had recleaned our apartment, put some milk in the fridge and gave us teabags  case closed.nReally?nWent upstairs and guess what? Cutlery still dirty and the GLASS dining table still the same.nIf your going to take peoples hard earned money pls supply the service they deserve.

1. No bulb in lounge room lamp. After a phone call a lady staff member arrived with a box of bulbs.  The lamp lead did not reach a power point.  The lady staff was unimpressed with our request for an extension lead and left with the bulbs.  A second phone call and Michael arrived with the light bulbs and we rearranged the furniture for the lead to reach a power point.n2. No spare pillows in 2nd bedroom and the pillows in both rooms were as flat as a pancake. On again speaking to the lady staff member, we were told that all the pillows in the motel were exactly the same.  But fortunately a plumper pillow was found later. 3. No port rack. 4. Ceiling fans dirty and the fan in the second room was too noisy to sleep so we decided to open the windows BUT THE WINDOWS WERE PERMANENTLY SCREWED SHUT!  We asked the staff to open the windows the next day but this didn’t happen. Fan was not repaired as it was a weekend. 5. Red soap was caked in the vanity basin. 6. Old hair band in the corner.  7. Wheelie bin outside was overflowing and not emptied over the days we were there. Apart from Michael the other staff were sour, unpleasant and gave the impression of “don’t care”.  This motel is too big and as Dubbo is a major tourist destination with high demand on accommodation they don’t need to provide the expected service.  Will not stay there again.?

located in west Dubbo, on the Newell, a great place to stop in as you pass through. is a moderate hike into town, so consider staying elsewhere if that matters. recently renovated rooms, plenty of on-site parking. safe location.

Heaps of rooms. 3 pools and rooms ok. Price could be more competitive. Room was a bit hot. Was a hot day and aircon was a tad noisy. Loved the pools. Kids had a great time in the water. Over all was a decent stay and if priced slightly lower would have given 5 stars.
