Lovely gourmet Italian restaurant with all fresh produce from local Tassie. The staff are super lovely and the food is definitely spot on in flavours. Not a lot of variety of food but anything is on the menu is pretty much guaranteed to taste good. Desserts are an absolute must try, we thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal but the desserts were the long lasting feel-good factor. Will bring family over when I have the chance to.
So-so fare. Nice attentive staff, but let down by some basic errors on the food. I enjoyed the bread albeit tell-tale bread maker machine crust. The agro dolce oysters just poor, kingfish main little overcooked and lamb main okay but lamb needed some spruce up. Free potato soup shot over peppered, seasoning issues on carpaccio, the chef doesn't season his food appropriately. Please add salt/pepper to your dishes!!! The tiramisu was divine and tasty coffee to finish. I think this restaurant is okay but value for money no, as secondi/mains are best part of $50 each. If the staff ask if you want cracked black pepper?please heed their advice, you'll need it. $257 @21/04/2023
One of the best restaurants in Launceston. Service and food were excellent. Also a great location and easy to walk to from nearby accommodation. We enjoyed our visit and we will definitely be back.
Enjoyed this restaurant experience! I enjoyed the food especially the quail and beetroot risotto.
Fantastic food! Visited here with my pregnant partner, and they assisted with the dietary requirements. The lovely lady took my partners coat at the door to begin with. The food was amazing! Just amazing. We loved the building and the setting, such a great venue. The best dining experience of many in Tasmania from our visit.
Have been hear plenty of times But this time mixed it up and tried the duck very well cooked and seasoned. I wouldn't order again but that's just preference. Had the tartae again - can not fault one of the best I've had in Launceston. The dessert was not what was expected. But what is always top notch is the service. The service is top notch you can just tell they work as a team and have the interest of the customer as their main goal. Can not fault the service. Drinks are perfect
Cute little quaint Italian restaurant with pastas and quality cooking. The wait staff were very friendly and warm, unassuming and ready to help you decide on your dish without judgement. Having had a long day out of multiple food trail eating, I had gone for several sides. One of my favourite dishes would be the Angel Hair Pasta with Prawns, a nice soupy twist to a usual dry pasta. I would also recommend the Duck Confit for the main and found it to be very nicely cooked. Great experience and warm service.
Absolutely delicious Italian dinner at Novaro's in Launceston. The seafood was cooked perfectly, our favourite was the tiger prawn spaghettini. We also tried their scallops, beef carpaccio, rocket salad, the abalone truffle spaghettini and quail.
Great Italian food and very warm welcome. Tgecatmosphere is very relaxing and cosy. We have been offered a shot of a very nice soup. I definitely recommend the tomato and mozzarella cheese. The ferfally with seafood is also great. The food is very fresh and light, it is a great choice if you do not feel like eating very heavy dinner.
Had dinner here with my partner while we were in Launceston. The atmosphere was lovely and the tiger prawns were cooked really well. I had the rum and ginger cocktail and that was great! Minusing a star because the dessert was lacking - it was overcooked and not well balanced.
