Francos was excellent. The decor and atmosphere were great. It's right in the middle of Launceston CBD and walking distance from just about anywhere in the CBD the CBD isn't particularly large. The menu is quite extensive and everything is made fresh. There was a good wine list too with both Tasmanian and Italian options. It's also BYO for wine only.
Beautiful restaurant with great food. Great pricing. The bruschetta was soggy due to using wrong type of bread. Bruschetta doesn't have cheese

Meal over charge veal n broccoli potatoes carrots tasted like they were boiled the day before n sauce too salty $49 meal 2 x wines. The Veal was on special placed on small plate
Visited for the first time tonight. From the booking stage through to the paying of the bill, it was a great dining experience. Despite being well patronised on the night, we 4 were welcomed as soon as we walked through the door. The staff were great, the food was fantastic and very well priced. Franco made a appearance to help out. Great night, very Italian, well recommended
Probably the best meal including all breakfast, lunch and dinner I've had since I began my trip 4 days ago.
