Story

Northern RV Services has over 20 years’ experience in the caravan and motorhome industry. We pride ourselves on good workmanship, positive thinking and the high level of service that we provide to our customers.

We are located in Campbellfield, Melbourne which is the heart of the caravan industry in Australia.

The company was formed to provide a unique service to our customers. Our staff have been trained in the industry by experts from many different areas of expertise within the RV industry. On board our team we have qualified and licensed plumbers, licensed electricians, and others with general caravan manufacturing experience including cabinet making and cladding.

We have a strong connection with many of the industry suppliers, including Dometic, Coast to Coast, Thetford and Swift. This allows us to offer a great service, with industry know-how, and great support from our suppliers, at a great price.

Mission

We offer a wide range services for your caravan or motorhome / recreational vehicles (RV).

We also carry out Maintenance services , Gas Compliance Certification and Certificates of Electrical Safety for caravans and motorhomes.

All work is carried out by licenced tradesmen, with RV industry experience.

Full gas and electrical services on most mobile appliances and fittings.

10 litre diesel heater tank with locking cap purchased New in May  2021 and have opened cap 3 times in that time and cap falls apart. Sent Northern RV  photo and copy of receipt with faulty cap no warranty replacement offered, just phone and order a new one was the answer. Extremely poor customer service provided and total disregard for compliance with ACCC, they sell products and don’t back them, one thing for certain is another lost of life after burning me with poorly made imported rubbish they offer and won’t warrant. It’s buyer beware of Northern Rv.

Fast delivery of 10L diesel tank and as described however the fuel fittings were missing. After contacting customer services, the fittings were express shipped that day. Great customer service and would highly recommend

I told the customer service guy I had a CAMPERVAN at the start of the call and went through pricing and my details and when a gas system certification could be done.....He then asked what type of CARAVAN was it? only for him to say "we don't do campervans". 10 points for listening to your customers....not. I asked why not as both gas systems are the same only to be told "I don't know, I don't work in that department". Very poor customer experience.  The response below just shows how inept this company is.

Placed a phone order at 11am from the Fraser Coast in Queensland and it was delivered to my door the following day ex Melbourne.  Outstanding service and the staff member I spoke with was very pleasant and obliging as well.  Well done Northern RV Services.  Thank You.

Would not recommend. Ordered a grey water tank and phoned through for tracking number 10 days later as I hadn't seen the item, couldn't get through to them for 4 days! Was told it had been delivered checked tracking number and delivery had been made to the wrong address. Went into freight company and was told it had been sent back to vendor. A lot of running around and ruined our travel plans. No compensation offered. Finally received tank 17 days after order was placed.

Thank you for such great service. Order placed one day and delivery received the next day in Adelaide. And this was not a small item.

Great service and value! We had a service and a gas heater fitted plus other bits... James was extremely helpful and went the extra mile with no extra cost! Most impressed and will definitely be back : : ...Back again a year later for more work - nothing too much trouble for these guys, so thorough and great with pricing! So good to know we have people we can trust to help keep our van in good repair at an affordable price :

Had to make a gas compliance and was denied by the plumber on my campervan. Wasted my time and the guy tried to find any possible reasons not to do it and suggested no solutions. He also made me feel like an outlaw when inspected it, like I was hiding something. I found the day after another plumber who contradicted everything said. I am sure those guys are good, but not for a converted van not done by themselves. Maybe my fault…

Excellent service. Went there with a water tank problem. We discussed the issue and they suggested a solution that was clever and carried out the repairs while I waited. Sensational!!

I decided to give them a low rating due to having no response to phone call messages I left or messages sent enquiring about a product we ordered online.  The product arrived within 4 working days of the order however there was no despatch notification and as we are on the road traveling full time it would have been nice to know how far away the item was from a return phone call or email.
