Story

At Bakeshop we make our own high quality sourdough. We are currently baking a wide range of loaves including a light rye, a seven grain loaf and a traditional white sourdough. We also have a range of specialty breads that include wholemeal spelt, honey and oat loaf and a potato and rosemary loaf with nigella seeds.

We make amazing croissants, almond croissants and danish. We also have a wonderful selection of home style baked goods. We use Seven Seeds coffee and Larsen and Thompson teas.

Been coming here since early 2017: delicious and consistent service and food. Fabulous coffee from Seven Seeds and their ciabattas are a weekend favourite. Gotta get in early though, they usually sell out quick.
Tried Northcote Bakeshop for the first time and wish I had sooner. I’ve gotta go back to try the sweets but the savoury Vegemite scroll is we a nice starting point. Unlike scrolls I’m used to, it’s more crispy than doughy like a savoury croissant. The coffee and service are also both great!

Unassuming bakery with an excellent selection. The almond croissant uses the whole almond which some will appreciate more than others. I also enjoyed their sandwiches for an easy lunch.
I just had an almond croissant from here that was probably the best one I've had IN MY LIFE! So crunchy on the outside, perfectly soft inside and just the right balance of buttery and sweet flavours. Next time I'll order a coffee as well!
Excellent quality bread, worth the price. Sweet pastries are so fresh, this is our #1 go-to bakery in the Northern suburbs!
Great coffee, great people, great location
Wonderful bakery! Was walking passed and admired their selection of morning rolls, croissants and pastries. The baker had stopped us to share a warm baguette. He was so lovely and friendly! Will definitely be returning. Great space and energy!

A lovely bakery on High Street with sourdough bread and a selection pastries. The savoury scone and Vegemite scroll were delicious. A little on the pricey side but very nice.
