It's okay to use during the day however it's very dangerous at night. Most trains stop here and this station has a very good connection to get to Corio Village if I'm coming from Melbourne. To be fair, this station is easy to use and has some shelter
Bus and trains run very smoothly, sometimes give or take a few minutes. Or on some days, you won't see a bus all day due to union industrial strikes. We've had 5 since may.
North Shore Train Station is always very BUSY with Commuters, travelling between Waurn Ponds and Southern Cross in Melbourne. LOOK OUT for Trains at each Railway Crossing ...especially on North Shore Road.
Smells like multiple people urinated everywhere. Trains were recently on fire. Glass is regularly everywhere, wear safe shoes to not get cut. Train screens have more protection from rain then the people because wind blows rain on an angle. No toilets for the train station or bus stops, with trains approximately every 40 minutes it can be a long wait. Enough litter on the tracks to inspire a poet.
A rundown station that attracts its fair share of low lives and crooks. If you can get yourself to Lara or North Geelong Train Station to get a train, then do so. It'll be a better experience, especially as those aforementioned stations are staffed.
