North Indian Flavour

Flavours from 2 dishes that I choose, both are amazing! I’ve been warned that chicken vindaloo is spicy, and I saw there is 3 chilli sign on that dish and I think to my self that I can handle this… Turn out my level of spiciness was above my expectations…. The dish was good however a little too spicy for me even though I can tolerate the spiciness. The sign should be 4 instead of 3 . Mattar Paneer was seems to be favorite, because dish almost finished on display. This dish also delicious, the pea and Indian cheese were cooked in tomato base with Garam masala, if I can guess correctly and served with medium level of spiciness.

Below average taste, absolutely not worth going. Rice are undercooked. Breads are burnt. Ordered an aalo parantha. It was filled with yesterday’s left over vegetableaalo matar and was burnt. Check the pics. Quality has degraded since my last visit couple of years ago.

Just love the butter chicken here! It’s street food takeaway model as there is no more than 6 seats in the restaurant with only styrofoam plates and plastic cutlery. Recommended

Decent food they serve...val of money, not a very good seating arrangements only 4 can be seated..but if one is ok for taje away then this is a good option . specially on George Street as they do not have many indian food restaurants

By far the worst experience of a restaurant in Australia. Do not recommend visiting this restaurant for a combination of ethical reasons, below average food taste and extremely disrespectful staff even when they are spoken to politely. Generally, the manager who takes orders at the counter first serves customers who comes in last. Observed it on several occasions. Today it was my turn to be served the last. So when the restaurant was confronted to first serve customers who came in first, the restaurant simply replied in negative and continued serving subsequent customers first and taking new orders instead of giving an apology. Surprisingly neither did the other staff who were staring at the customers at the counter make an effort to ensure customers who came in first were served before others. The quality of the food is below average. So not a good combination. I would not recommend it.

I work nearby and usually get lunch from here. I didn’t have a good experience and i did try to give it few chances. I usually get 2 curry with rice $12.99. Most of the time they want to just fill the box with rice and gravy. When it comes to curry i have requested several times if they can not add too much gravy and more meat. When i request this they get very agitated and still don’t acknowledge what I requested.Goat curry comes with bones and i have literally counted there is never more then 3-4 pieces of goat meat which is pretty much bones. When people pay for food they expect all of the items in moderation. Never again its not just about making money people are spending their hard earned money to eat good food so do the right thing.

Reasonable prices and good taste. If the small table is not clean, you will find kitchen paper towel and a cleaning spray next to the bin. There might be some wait time. If you find this comment useful, please give it a thumb up.

I happen to be walking around and saw this very tidy take away place so decided to grab some dinner. I really liked the quality and presentation so grabbed dinner again tonight. It was delicious and I would definitely visit again when I’m back in Sydney next time.

5 stars all the way! BEAUTIFUL TASTY DELIGHTFUL YUMMY Chicken Tikka with rice and papadums, I really, really enjoyed my meal, just the right level of spice. Thanks so much. Highly recommend this restaurant for take away. Fabulous Indian food in Sydney.

I visited this place last week and was very disappointed with the quality of food I received. I specifically ordered for only chickpeas curry take awaywithout any accompaniment , but I was charged $8.90 which was the price for the whole meal and what I received was just a small bowl of curry.The curry was very spicyway above the normal standards and was inedible. Never going to visit this place again.
