The entry to INDU is a bit hidden and dauntingly down a dimly lit corridor but once you’re inside the restaurant has a great atmosphere and nice lighting. The staff are professional and knows the menu well. Our waitress gave us good suggestions and could clearly articulate what to expect from each dish. The flavours were delicious. We enjoyed every one of them. Love the cocktails and I appreciate that they had a selection of mocktails when you want to slow down. I’d come back again.
Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service and amazing food. On a busy Valentine's day evening the service was amazing from the start and just got better. Order the tasting menu and cocktails and get ready for a great food adventure. We had such a great time. Looking forward to coming back.
Really good food, great atmosphere, amazing background music and good service! Plus there are heaps of vegan options! We had the set menu and it was absolutely incredible. So much food that we had to take the leftovers in a goodie bag. I will definitely go back :
Best service ever!!!! One of the wait staff was so attentive he knew before I spoke and told me he'd be with me in a moment. When he returned I asked how he knew I had a question and he said," I saw it in your eyes". 10/10. All staff very pleasant. Big servings, absolutely divine dishes. Fabulous location. Excellent background music.
nice fusion Indian restaurant. We ordered feast set menu for dinner catch up and enjoyed the atmosphere, a way of food being served and taste of them....everything was just amazing. Wasn't quite noisy even if that place was very busy at Friday nite. Especially recommending cocktail! wanna revisit to try other dishes next time.
Well, where to start! First, I went for Mother's day as I wanted to treat my mum to some delicious Sri Lankan food with a nice experience. My expectations were exceeded! The food was absolutely delicious, intellectually balanced and colourful, with a warm and cosy but private atmosphere in regards to the design of the restaurant, the staff were incredible! Looking forward to going again! 5/5! If only more stars were allowed! :P
I’m astounded this place isn’t rated higher. Totally five-star experience! We had the vegetarian set menu for two plus an order of tuna croquettes which was totally excessive since there was already so much food. Every item was delicious and the service was impeccable. Fun decor, too.
A must try for any vegans out there! We had their vegan tasting menu and the food was delightful. My partner has a garlic intolerance and they were able to accommodate to this on their menu. Overall, food was interesting and ambience was great.

A beautiful deluxe feast inspired from Lankan and indian flavours Located 30 seconds away from the Wynyard light rail. Overall , great ambience , enthusiastic host and great value for money. Went for the banquet , and don't be fooled by the sized of the entree. The mains will make sure you find it tough to stand up. Personally , loved the gin cured kingfish quite fresh and a proper pallette cleanser . Found the lamb raan a bit too heavy and rich , but that's again my perspective . Could have done something more spectacular with dessert as the rest of the menu was great. Not so impressive cocktails : Very watered down drinks
