I found looking for a second hand car in Hobart to be a minefield, full of salesmen hustling to meet targets and dealers offering nothing more than you'd get from buying a car from Gumtree. North Hobart was a no pressure experience where I felt that they were working to provide me with the right car, not just sell me whatever they could. They were also the only dealership to offer a warranty. Highly recommended.

I bought a car from them a few months ago. They said the car was in a good condition, timing belt not due for another thousands of kms, tires were brand new. I haven't been driving much since, but recently, I found out the tires were almost half worn, and one of them was retreaded, timing belt was long due for replacement (last change was 93,000, when I got the car it was 230,000), the engine has got some problems so it vibrated a lot, requiring a check, the battery is 5 years old, and the auto transmission was long due for a service as it had turned black already. Shocking to find out there is so much that needs to be done to fix the car. I thought I could trust them because my friend recommended them to me, but now I need to spend so much extra money just getting a "normal condition". They looked like very genuine and friendly people. Now I am very disappointed.

Really nice people there. They do not try to sell you what you don't need and that's great! Honnest sellers are not that easy to find...
