On a consistent basis there are amazing events in North Hagley Park. The parking is a little difficult if you don't know the area. If are not confident in park in small spaces I recommend you walk in from the town center or from outside the park. Most events run for at most a week and are almost always themed around something or are traveling talent. Great place.

Awesome venue to watch the cricket - so close to the players and much more comfortable than sitting in a stadium! Would recommend getting in early when it sells out as the line was massive. Also so nice walking around the park !

What a great place to walk and enjoy the Park and trees. No matter the time of year the surroundings are fantastic. The only "fly in the ointment" are those that do not understand the concept of "share the path." These are groups of people that walk and run around the park in a bulldozer fashion clearing everyone in their path out the way. Highly recommended place to visit as long as you don't mind the odd group of inconsiderates!

Noodle Market Great. More seating was needed under the trees in the shade. A stall selling flavoured iced tea would of been very popular. Lots of yummy good choices.

Great big open park space. Lots of different large events often happen here over summer - such as sparks, beer festival, night noodle markets. Great to just walk around in middle of CHCH and just soak up some greenery
