Story

A wealth of experience in matters of health:
It goes without saying that when you look for a doctor you look for someone with a wealth of experience. Noosa Fair Medical Centre has 6 general practitioners with experience across a broad spectrum of health issues. Backed by registered nurses and friendly administration staff, Noosa Fair Medical Centre provides a caring and complete approach to your individual medical needs.
Doctors include Dr John Fitzgerald, Queensland trained and practicing in Noosa for over 25 years. John has a special interest in men’s health.
Dr Gay Fitzgerald, also Queensland trained has been a doctor in Noosa since 1990. She enjoys all aspects of general practice but particularly women’s health and paediatrics.
Dr Rachel Mecham, UK trained, moved to Noosa in 1995 after working in several locations around Australia. Rachel also has interests in women’s health and paediatrics
Dr Simon Clare, also UK trained, has lived in the Noosa area for 5 years and has over 15 years experience both here and in the UK. He enjoys all aspects of general practice.
Dr Cherry Bain has been practicing medicine in Noosa for over 30 years, enjoying all aspects of general practice.
Just new to the team is Dr Francois Pretorius. His wealth of experience has been gathered from working in rural practices throughout New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. Having once been a solo GP in a country town, Francois interests include all aspects of general practice, especially skin checks and small procedures.
With all this experience on hand the centre offers complete family health care for local residents and visitors to Noosa.
Some of the services provided include testing for asthma and diabetes, full health assessments, children’s immunisations, flu vaccinations, travel vaccinations, driver licence and employment medicals. They also offer walk in and same day appointments.
Conveniently situated with ample parking in the Noosa Fair Shopping Centre (Coles complex) in Lanyana Way. Phone for an appointment on 5447 5455. Opening hours are 8.00am – 6.00pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 12.00pm on Saturday.
