Karen and her team are truely amazing !!!! She is truely the Magic Lady of Alterations, and no intricate alteration is too hard for her. I have been a customer for years and have trusted her with my most precious garments. Her alterations are done to perfection My husband uses her for all his trouser alterations and he has always been very satisfied. If you are looking for a great alteration establishment look no further than Noosa Alterations. Karen and her lovely team will not disappoint. Brenda Barry.

I was very unhappy with my recent experience with this local business. The woman (Karen) who owns and runs this business did a very poor job of altering a pair of expensive suit pants (purchased overseas). At the time I only wanted my trousers altered in the waist but she then insisted that my trousers should be taken up as in her opinion they were too long which I reluctantly agreed to against my better judgement. She then cut more than the excess off my trousers to the point of leaving the hem so short that my socks are clearly visible above my shoes. I had to take my trousers back to her necessitating her to invisibly sew the hem back on she had foolishly removed which still left my trousers shorter than I wanted them. For that she charged me $35.00 ($20.00 for the waist and $15.00 for the hem) but at no time did she offer to reduce the cost of the alteration which was clearly her fault. Not that a reduction in the cost would have placated me as she has now ruined an expensive suit which I can no longer wear as a result of her woeful and unprofessional workmanship. Noosa Alterations and its owner was, in my opinion, very unprofessional in the way they conduct their business as this woman after I complained then had the audacity to blame me for her poor workmanship when I returned my trousers for repair giving me the lame and extremely poor excuse that I must have moved or looked down as she was pinning the hem which was why she had hemmed the trousers - which she cut completely off I might add before placing the cut off hem in my trouser pockets - too short. Nor did Karen offer me the courtesy of an apology which any decent business owner would have done at the very least to a customer for what she had done. As a consequence I would like to take the opportunity to offer a warning to any future prospective customers who may be considering using Noosa Alterations in the future that if you do business with Karen and her business, do so at your own peril as in my opinion she has very poor business acumen and is unprofessional in her dealings with her customers. I have given Noosa Alterations a one star rating as one star is the minimum I have to give to enable me to post this review but this business does not even deserve the one star rating I have had to give it in my opinion.

Shame the client below had such an experience from The Magic Lady Karen, who has been happily and professionally doing all my alterations for years. Nice people and a great service.
