I’ve been here on numerous occasions and was initially very impressed however, I feel the quality of the food has declined. It does get very busy at night, which is understandable for the staff, however I’ve now received dumplings on numerous occasions where the dumplings have been over pan fried, resulting them in being drier than they should be & harder in texture. The pan fried pork buns are nice however can be excessively oily at times. The satay chicken with rice however has remained consistently good and is delicious!
Delicious! Nice roof top ambiance. Good customer service. Reasonable pricing. Heaps mall parking. Outdoor seating. Options for create your own stir fry noodles and create your own noodle soup.
This is a really good place if you want a quick fix for dumplings! Although we waited over 20min to order, the food came out really quickly and was tasty! Keen to come back and try it again when they aren’t so busy. Xiao long bao; Pan fried pork buns; Wonton soup with egg noodles; Pan fried chicken dumplings.
The service was quite fast. You order at the counter and self serve sauces at the right hand corner of the store. It gets quite busy at night and can be hard to find a sit. Drinks are in the fridge and are self-serve as well. The pork pan fried dumplings had such thick skin and was not very enjoyable. The soy sauce was overly salty and did not help at all. The pork pan fried buns had a soft delicious skin but the filling was mediocre.
Food is meh. The Singapore noodles are so salty and the combination fried rice is bland. It's edible but not really worth. They serve you in plastic/paper plates and forks. Also the dumpling was alright but the texture of the meat inside was mushy and not quite pleasant.
This restaurant doesn’t really deserve 1 star at all after what we experienced tonight. We spent $75 for our dinner, couldn’t finished one of our meal, asked one of the waitress if we can get a take away container but we don’t have cash on us. so we tried to tell them if we can get a container without lining up, as the line was quite long and reaching outside already. We wanna see what will they say or do for a 50cents take away container. Owners came up to us and say “its 50cents, come come to the register i let you pay for it, oh and 1cent surcharge coz you paying eftpos” . We were all shook of the customer service that they’ve shown not just to us but to the other customers that can hear them. This restaurant has no nothing about how to look after their customers. Your customers paid more than $50 for food and you making pay your customers 50cents with 1cent surcharge for containers. Even your waitresses knows how greedy you are everyone can tell that they have to ask permission from the owner for 50cents container?!?!? I guess its all about money. I’m pretty sure you will not run out of customers, but our small family and extended big families are going to stop coming to your restaurant.
I wish i could explain how bad the food is. Everything is dry. No taste. Pathetic service. They don’t know how to talk to their clients. We spent $60 for 3 times and the food was shockingly terrible. I talked to the manager but she denied everything and got rude.
Worst food experience ever. Poor staff service and poor presentation of the food. Taste of the dumbing was pathetic. I am highly disappointed. I don’t recommend this restaurant at all. Hope they will improve food and service or such poor issues will definitely impact their business soon.
Have been eating at this place for years, dumplings are great, though dined in today and asked for plates and buttery and was given a picnic size plastic plate. Asked for a proper plate given we were at a restaurant and they said this is all they serve now… bit ridiculous.
Went for lunch today for the first time. Not really an impressive place. For the service and food it is expensive even for Sydney. Restaurant prices for hawker centre service. Food was ok. Wouldn't go back.
