I order 2 Mongolian lamb , and a pork and vegetable meals with a large fried rice. All I can say is I think a whole onion was put in each lamb dish, hardly any pork in the pork dish. I highly don't recommend this restaurant . It was the worst Chinese food, I have ever had. And I am over 50 and normally love Chinese. Check my pic on how much onion this restaurant puts on their meals.
We dined in on Saturday night, 4 of us. For most of the time we were the only diners in the restaurant. My husband lost it when the old gentleman waiting tables stood watching every mouthful we took then reached right across him to take plates the minute the last morsel was off the plate. Food was good but definitely won't dine in again. Takeaway only maybe? Shame as we like to support local business.
While the food was good, we sat down and ordered and were charged the full price despite the lunch special for a full dish being $11. When we pointed that out, staff argued. We will not be returning as the service and the unethical ways to rort customers has left a bad taste in our mouth.Food: 4/5
What can I say about this place? If you like chinese, you MUST go. I have lived in the area 4 and a half years, and it is my go to restaurant when family and friends visit. I can't tell you the number of times I have eaten in or had take away from there. Ken and the team will look after you, and you never leave hungry from there. The takeaway servings are big too. We all love it. Everyone says it is the best chinese they have ever eaten, and of course I concur. Do yourself a favour and try it out. I promise you that you won't be disappointed. I was there today actually
Meal quality very poor & even worse given the price. I ordered Sweet & Sour Pork. The Pork come in it's own tray & tasted like it had been heated in a Microwave. The Sweet & Sour Sauce was not on the Pork but in a separate take away container. Their was very little flavour in special fried rice & will not buy again nor recommend to anyone.
We ordered a few dishes for a family lunch today. Good quality dishes and everything was very tasty; prices were also okay. Everyone enjoyed the meal and we will be returning. Dishes ordered: fried rice, mongolian lamb, szechuan chicken, honey chicken, combination chow mein.
Food is not bad, goodFood: 4/5
Chicken with mushroom sauce is delicious; chicken with chilli is not good; sweet and sour pork is pretty good but has been inconsistent based of several visits and missing onion and green pepper.
Chinese was disappointing tonight. Spent $90 and got no prawn chips with the meal?? Satay chicken had leaked over everything making a big mess in the bag. It was pretty much like a soup mix. It wasn’t enjoyable tonight. Flavour of all dishes was average.
We had a very bad experience today. A mistake made by the person who took the order cost a person who has never eaten non vegetarian food due to cultural beliefs in their life to eat non vegetarian food. I had ordered vegetarian fried rice and while eating we found ham and prawns. This is totally not acceptable. When I rang them they asked me to bring the fried rice back and that they would give me vegetarian fried rice for free. Free food is not an answer for what the person experienced today. Father's day lunch was spoiled because of this today.
