I was very excited to come to this famous breach all the way from Sydney, then was supremely disappointed when I arrived and discovered that the council had removed all of the change rooms and only three very dirty toilets. Don't really understand why there is a beach without change rooms, I feel sorry for the regular locals who would love this place for a morning swim or weekend outing. There is even a pointless gym ONLY for life savers, selfish and pointless. Definitely won't be recommending this place to anyone.

Your own private beach at night, presenting wonderful opportunities for night photography. The waves aren't massive, but it's not crowded, plenty of parking and a short walk to the baths make this an ideal warm up spot. There's place for some beach volleyball and you can see Orion on a clear moonless night.

It was windy and wild the day I was there, and while the waves were good for the surfers, it was too cold to swim but very enjoyable to walk up and down looking out for wildlife feeding on the rock platform. I bought some delicious prawns for a snack at paymasters kiosk, which were just what I felt like.

A beautiful place to be so early in the morning watching the sun come up and standing in the refreshing salt water with the beautiful salt air!

Always a family friendly place to visit. Huge beach with shallow sections for the kids, patrolled and shelter available. Not many BBQ's though.
