Went on the dawn river cruise after finding that all the other available cruises were booked out. This was a great decision in the end - my group comprised of less than a dozen adults - and we all had the advantage of our own seats and plenty of space on board. I saw one of the booked out boats later in the day - and the people were crammed on. Better the dawn cruise if you want room to breathe. The tour itself is spectacular, the guide / driver is knowledgeable and more than willing to answer questions. Highly recommended if your in the area on holiday.

This is a must visit location when you are in the Northern Territory. Do as much as you can while you are there. Cruise, kayak and you must hike to the lookouts for sunrise and sunset. If the southern rockhole is open this place is the best swimming hole in the NT

Went canoeing in Gorges 2 & 3 today. Unbelievably beautiful. Sure we could have gone on a cruise, but to be able to paddle up and touch 1.6million year old rock walls that tower above you, to be able to slide under the many overhangs, to be able to stop paddling and just drift in this amazing place is beyond words. Every person should have this experience. Absolutely amazing.

Spectacular gorge, river running fast and small waterfalls down the gorge walls. Not the usual view.
