One of my favourite places in Kakadu. 90 kilometres from Jabiru. Have to take Kakadu Highway towards PineCreek approximately 42 km, then turn left there’s sign. From here-unsealed road 50km to Garnamarr Campground only 4WD accessible. Campsite is good, well maintained, this year charge is 15$ per person. Camp manager is a wonderful friendly person. Always ready to help you. He suggested us to walk 50 metres to see the colour changes during sunset. That was really a memorable time. You can see the colour changes of the ranges. Please take bin bags and put all rubbish there and take it back with you. It’s totally out of any phone coverage.

Incredibly busy. We rocked up about 230pm and only just squeezed in. Camp manager was friendly and helpful. Facilities were clean and tidy. Road into the camp has some corrugation but nothing too bad - maps said it was only 4x4 accessible but it was okay. The road to JimJim Falls is only 4x4 accessible though.
Definitely my favourite camp ground in all of Kakadu. Great facilities, nice green camping areas with good firepits. Brian the Ranger is an absolute legend. The water is fresh and drinkable. Most importantly, there was no bugs here. Mozzies were pretty much non existent. Jim Jim falls is close by and it's the best in Kakadu in my opinion.
Good sites to camp at, come early and stake your claim. Each site has a small fire plate to cook on and there are communal showers with hot and cold water and tubs to wash up in. Camp manager will walk around about 5pm and take the camp fees off you cash only. Absolutely loved the stay and will certainly be back.
Very nice, warm solar showers, great view. 30 min drive to Falls carport. 37mins return on an ebike.
Really good campground with nice and clean facilities , even hot water ! And then a nice drive to the jimjim falls through the bushes with your 4wd for an amazing walk over the rocks to the waterfall!
Good camping ground, water, toilet and showers, no power. 30 AUD per night.
Richard the camp host is great amenities so clean well looked after camp
