Story

Saint Regis Food and Wine Bar, is open Thursday - Saturday for Lunch and Dinner and Sundays for a relaxed lunch. Offering a selection of snacks, shared meals and desserts to go with local wine, beer, coffee and teas. All complimented by beautiful views over the vineyard.

Pop into the cellar door (Open from 11am to 4pm Thursday to Sunday) and enjoy a free tasting. You'll meet owners Viv or Pete and celebrity 'Wine Dogs', Baz and Monty.

Came here for dinner and ordered 4 apps and 3 mains between 4 people. Everything was delicious and all had really balanced and unique flavours and everything was super fresh and all made in-house even the bread!. Incredibly happy to have discovered this restaurant, highly recommend!
What a beautiful experience. Came here solo to dine with my furry friend. I did the tasting menu and the food was phenomenal, much like the service. The staff were so friendly and they made me feel very welcome, I will definitely be back. Would give 10 stars if I could. So glad I stumbled across your winery while in the area.
Loved the food. It was nice to have the chef make the decision for us with a selection of tasty delicious food. The waitress was so beautiful. Lovely kind nature and very prompt. Would definitely come back. The vines were spectacular
We had a lovely Saturday lunch with friends at Nicol's Paddock. The setting is very pleasant on the side of a hill overlooking the vineyard. We were greeted warmly by the friendly staff who provided excellent service during our meal. We all chose the Feast and left it to the chef to decide what we would eat. It was an excellent array of dishes - all tasty and more than sufficient quantity. We also enjoyed tasting the Nicol's Paddock wines.
We had a last minute thought and made reservations to Nicol’s. So chuffed that we did as it didn’t disappoint! The menu was great with loads of options for all your tastes and dietary requirements. Food was fantastic and fabulous wine with nice views over the vine yard. A must if you’re a local or in the area.
With a very raining Sunday we decided to go out and we picked Nicol's winery. Absolutely the best choice. We booked for 1pm we arrived a little bit earlier to have a wine tasting. What a find. We were driving down in Torquay and stumbled across this on google maps. Wines were delicious, very warm and earthy inside, fantastic and warm service. Food was lovely, the chicken pate was fabulous. Definitely recommend doing the tasting paddle of wines too.
The food, service and atmosphere are all worth going back for. Love that there are vegan/vegetarian options that are well considered here also. Perfect place for a group lunch or a small lunch for two!
This place is really lovely for an afternoon wine and cheese board we ended up having a sneaky playe of beef croquettes which was absolutely delightful and must order. Such a relaxed atmosphere with beautiful surroundings. Had a really lovely time here a few weeks back with friends. Staff are so lovely and go out of their way to assist. Will be back again for sure.
