We tried different curries, beef, goat, lamb, chicken and they were all very tasty with lots of fragrance and texture. The nans were excellent, fluffy on one side and crunchy on the other. Rice was cooked perfectly. Maybe portions could be a bit more generous. The wait was not tool long and most dishes were served at the same time. Friendly service. Street parking can be tricky in this residential area.
I recently ordered take away and tried their pepper chicken dish. I have to say, it was hands down the best pepper chicken I've ever had in my life! The flavors were so well-balanced and the dish was cooked to perfection. Despite being a take away order, the chicken was still hot and juicy when I got home. I was thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food and the service provided by the restaurant. I can't wait to order from them again. Highly recommend giving this place a try if you're looking for amazing food and great service.
Ordered lamb biryani, seekh kababs and chicken tikka. Biryani was never close to the taste of biryani at all and had weird kind of a flavour… it was blackish in colour… Tikka/kebabs were ok.
This cozy restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentations, wide wonderful dessert. I recommend it to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again.Food: 5/5
We order dinner for 4 last night. Lady who took our order lacked customer service skills. One of the chicken dish is uneatable. Only lamb curry was good.
The best goat biryani in Canberra.
Chicken biryani - 4/5 Goat Dalcha - 4/5 - bit thick but definitely delicious quantity could be increased Garlic naan - 2.5/5
Oh my God, I came here to go to the Persian restaurant next door but I was lucky that was closed! So I thought I try out the NH8 restaurant next door. I ordered Mango Lasi, Goat Biryani and Lamb roghanjosh. With no doubt, no hesitation and no bias, I admit this was the best Indian cuisine I tried in Australia.been to many Indian I leave this comment because these guys deserve to be tried. I will come back here, and this time I will come back to try everything else in NH8.
Hi guys, one star is less just because of quality of paneer, paneer was feeling like gone out dated, except that taste of all other item was owesome. Please check the quality of paneer before using it, thanks.
This ain't it, save yourself the money and order yourself some servo pies. Maccas fries are seasoned better than the food at this place, they should stop adding chilli and meat masala to every dish because they all taste the same, which is below average at best...
