Newcastle Airport

A smaller cozier airport with a massive parking space. Friendly staff that let you know when your bags will come out. And an overall good atmosphere one of the better less crouded airports I've been to in my life.

I've been travelling back & forth from Newcastle to Melbourne for the last 6 years, I always park in the long stay car park & get the shuttle bus to the terminal, I've always been very happy with the courteous drivers of these shuttle buses except for the last trip I've just had flying down to Melbourne on 21st December & returning 27th December. The driver on both occasions did not help at all with luggage which is very difficult to get over the rail to place the suitcase in the luggage compartment. I'm an older traveler & it would be great if the driver could help!!.. On my return trip there was an older lady that looked like she had had a stroke, she only had the use of her right side, another young lady helped her with her luggage while the driver just sat there. I was also lucky to have a woman help me with my suitcase, no thanks to the driver!! Come on Newcastle Airport, you've done an amazing job in every way with your up grades, it's a great airport to travel from, we just need a little help from the Shuttle drivers.

I have been flying into Williamtown my entire life. It use to be my favorite airport - the staff were always so friendly. But my last half a dozen visits since around Christmas 2017 have been terrible. The staff have been unhelpful and outright rude. Our luggage did not arrive with our flight and when we departed the plane and into the terminal there was no one around for help. The main terminal was closed, every person we asked for help they just shrugged their shoulders and kept walking. We were yelled at for looking for help. Very disappointing.

I love Newcastle airport, it is so convenient to the whole hunter region as it links us to the world in a much faster way, The airport is nice and fresh as it is a new airport and all the staff there are very friendly, It has paid parking but because it is so close to a lot of us locals we can be dropped off to save some money.
