Beautiful community library with parking and great views of New Farm Park! Love the baby rhyme time sessions and amazing kids corner section complete with Lego cubby house. Shannon is great with the kids and we always love a play on the playground after borrowing books. Love the outdoor patio area with tables and chairs to read or do some work!
The side meeting room is open for board game nights and the library is kind enough to let us use their air conditioner so that's a 5 star experience for me.
Well done Librarian Christine for your consistently wonderful customer service at New Farm Library. Your enthusiasm for literature is infectious especially when assisting our grandchildren. The Little Stars Programme is an excellent idea in helping to develop a love of reading in young people. Your commitment is appreciated by many. Thank you. Frances & Ric Nilson
A great quiet atmosphere suitable for relaxing with an interesting book overlooking Newfarm Park! A friendly & efficientl service provided! Suitable for children as there is an area available for their entertainment I asked if they had chickens DVD Lilo & Stitch but they had no 2! Good Enough!
Such a great spot! First time visiting this library on a Wed morn for toddler rhyme time. My little one 17MO loved the class held by Christine who was very patient with the kids. Only a 30min class at 930am, before the actual library opens up at 10am. It's free and no booking needed!nnWe played in the playground at the back of the library. Got a park next to it which is dedicated to library attendees, but I can imagine would get quite busy and hard to find a park the later in the day it gets.nnGreat nook for bubs too with Lego wall and play section.nnGreat spot, can't wait to return!
