Love this place. I’m here a few times a week. They have really nailed the friendly ‘for the locals’ cafe feel and I love their Sanga menu, perfect amount of food for a really affordable price and they are all incredibly tasty, get the brisket and the crispy chicken at least once! Also these guys have some of the best, proper yeasted waffles I have ever had, would love for a savoury version to make its way back to the menu.nnWe were also able to make their recent Neighbourhood X Night dinner and it was so beautifully done. The atmosphere was great, loved the dim lights and the little candles and vases of herbs. It totally changed the feel of the place. The food was genuinely good and incredibly generous, my husband and I could not finish it all. We rolled out of there like you would roll out of your Nonna’s kitchen after a big celebration. The stand outs for me were the zucchini flowers, the handmade parpadelle, the chicken for main was perfectly cooked, easy to get off the bone but not over done and just nailed the roast potatoes, also please make the pistachio ice cream a regular menu item! Highly recommend this place if you are in the area.
Sadly really disappointed with the service received Sunday morning. My partner ordered x2 coffees online, and when we arrived they said they were only a few minutes away which was fine because I will a few mins early anyway. From the time we placed the online order and was given a 15 min wait time it took 27 mins to get two coffees. It’s just way too long to wait. Maybe the wait times when you order need to be adjusted when they are very busy?
We had great take away coffee from here, I can only recommend it, their decaffeinated is the best, it's full of flavor and tast spot on. We will be coming back for more.
Really lovely little place! the coffee is wonderful and never burnt, really fresh food, and big servings. the chips are crispy, the breakfast rolls are surprisingly filling, the acai bowl was delicious and the fruit on top was lovely and fresh. service is also great, atmosphere has a wonderful friendly buzz without being overcrowded.
My wife and I have just gotten home from the inaugural Neighbourhood by Night event and if I could give them 6 stars I would. On essentially every level they over delivered on our expectations. The food was excellent in terms of quality and abundant in terms of quantity. The drinks list was nicely curated with options for each of us. If Neighbourhood open for dinner more often, I'm going to need to pick up another job because I won't be able to resist.
