I’ve had the pleasure of having Julie from NRLinks perform a wide range of services in relation to enabling me to move forward with the appropriate planning with regards to a property development in the heart of the Grampians. It’s been a very complex and series of complicated scenarios that have had changing regulations over a 2-3 year period and I know for a fact that without her expertise, support and willingness to work outside the normal sphere, we would not have been able to come close to the current reality of enabling the construction to now be a reality moving forward. Julie has been a great advocate for the project and I know all connected to this have valued her input and experience in dealing with all of the complexities surrounding construction activities within a bush or regional environment, especially when it comes to providing quality and substantial surveys. I have no reservations whatsoever in providing my personal recommendation for her work and hope that this recommendation provides all who are searching for a quality and competitive result to feel at ease no matter what their situation is. I attach photos of the site to show how complex it’s been given the building site, defendable space requirements and need to maintain core habitat and over a one hectare area.
Julie is an absolute wealth of knowledge across a range of complex areas such as native vegetation overlays, bushfire overlays, and various other council requirements when applying for a planning permit. I couldn't have navigated this minefield without Julie - her knowledge, patience, communication, and friendly nature made it do-able and successful - thanks a million Julie! Julie kindly provided me with valuable advice on a friend's block of land in the Otways within an extreme bushfire zone, which included a phone consultation that easily lasted 1/2 an hour and then refused to charge a cent for her time. She demonstrates amazing knowledge in her field, is extremely personable and clearly has a passion for her work. I hope that I can be a paying customer next time around. Julie is the most helpful, pleasant and caring person l have ever dealt with in business ! Since l was very ignorant of Council requirements re permits, zoning etc she never once made me uncomfortable for my lack of knowledge! Julie took time to explain every detail involved in my case and provided understandable, fully covered in every detail solutions! l felt confident of a positive outcome without any doubt to my problem! Totally recommend Julie to anyone requiring any type of permit or building etc issue!
I was very happy with Julie’s help in gaining a planning permit to build. She was very patient in explaining processes and seems to have a very good relationship with council. I would not hesitate to recommend.
My partner and I have just got our permit to build a dwelling in a farm zone on a 20 acre lot, and it would not have been possible without Julie's help. From the start Julie was honest about the project, wanted to know about what we wanted to achieve, and believed and was committed to the outcome. Her experience and knowledge of the rural planning environment was so beneficial for the success of our application. We originally looked at completing the application ourselves, though quickly realised it required professional assistance. Julie's ability to prepare a Farm Plan that both worked for us and strengthened our position with the Permit application was something we could never have achieved by ourselves. My partner and I are still over the moon about being approved, and wouldn't have been able to do without Julie's help. I will definitely recommend her to anyone I know that wants to prepare a small lot dwelling application in a farm zone.
I'm thrilled with the outcome of working with Julie from NR Link. My permit went through first pass, with no amendments, and was highly complex with conflicting fire and vegetation requirements. I had been told by others it could take literal years to get my build permits, but mine went through quickly and seamlessly.
Julie has been a delight to liaise with. We haven’t even hired her on board for services, and she has been invaluable with advising us on which land we were looking at would be able to fulfil our goals. I can’t wait to work with her in the future- her insight is amazing and she has happily given her time with no expectation- a rare trait to find! Just friendly and caring all round.
