If I could leave 0 stars I would have. An absolute disgrace of a company. Driver eas lovely. Their company as a whole needs some work. Lack of transparency and customer service. Taking so long to tow the vehicle that the dealership was closed so it went to their depot and advised it would be towed to the dealership in the morning, then not doing that and bit advising the customer of this until after they call looking for why the dealership hasn't recieved their car to then be told the job couldn't be completed due to how busy they where and won't be done for another 3 days. Escalated the issue through RACV and spoke to a manager at nationwide who advised a call back in 10 minutes.... never got that call back. I can't believe RACV use this company as their only towing service. An absolute disgrace.
The driver "kush" was rude to my brother who has condition, charged me an additional excess km fee and told me to take it up with the insurer, and then left him stranded to find his own ride home. He took the car to a completely different location that he was asked to after we confirmed several times. Again he was rude and threatened to dump the car in thomastown unless another tow was paid and told us to take it up with the insurer and hung up. By the time we the got in touch with nationwide and the insurer Kush had already dumped the car and refused to answer phone calls. We were instructed by Nationwide that another tow wasn't able to be made but after we told the insurer that we were calling the police to report the car stolen they agreed to arrange another truck to bring it back. 3 hours later the car finally arrived to where it was meant to go. We had to cancel work shifts to ensure the car was returned. It was a disgusting experience.
This is my Second update/follow up review of Nationwide towing & transport on 12 October 2022. Today my vehicle as mentioned earlier required to be towed again to my regular mechanic at a different location. The tow was arranged by RACV and a truck was dispatched by Nationwide towing at 09:44 am. The vehicle was Picked up/delivered to it's destination at 10:35 am in my absence. Considering that, the weather is quite windy & wet today with constant rain, I was prepared for a long wait. But to my surprise, my vehicle was Picked up from Lynbrook and delivered to it's destination at Stud park under One hour! Now this is what I call -- Five Service with Well done Nationwide Towing Service Many Thanks to you and to the wonderful driver who completed the task in a record time, under such horrible weather conditions. Keep up the good work! Yesterday my vehicle broke down and had to be towed from Rowville to Lynbrook. We had to wait inside our vehicle for almost 4 hours by the roadside and endure without food, drink or toilet breaks etc. Thanks to the organising skills of Nationwide towing! But the driver named TREVOR who finally arrived to our rescue was a Gem of a bloke. He was Cheerful, courteous, professional & very careful/Diligent in handling the tow of our vehicle and driving to the destination. Nationwide Towing certainly could do with more drivers of Trevor's calibre. What Nationwide lacks in organising, such drivers more then make up with their Great Customer Service. My car broke down on Eastlink. Nationwide tow truck was sent by the RACV. Driver called Pav was friendly and professional. Safely drove me to my mechanic. Very happy with service.

This morning i was on my way home from work and soon after i started driving on the new Mordialloc Freeway my tyre went flat: i pulled out on the emergency lane. To make it worse it started to rain and with less than 18% battery left on my mob i googled 24/7 tyre assistance and RACV came up on the top services. The clerk clearly heard my anxiety and very quickly organised a yearly membership which i paid over the mob and organised a NATIONWIDE TOWING TRUCK to come and get me! Service took about 1 hour as the adress was hard to find being a new freeway and as my mobile was almost flat i managed to send a screen shot to the lovely driver ANTHONY! Thankyou for coming to my rescue and safely drove me to a safe location where then RACV came down to change my tyre 35mns approx. These drivers have a very dangerous job to do so please be patient and kind, they go out of their way to rescue YOU! ‍
