If you purchase a Nandos giftcard from Onehunga Nandos, make sure before you leave that they actually credit your giftcard with the amount you purchased. Very embarrassing tonight, ordering a meal at Otahuhu Nandos, to be told the unused card had a nil balance. Their solution, phone Onehunga. Onehunga's solution, drive to their store to sort something out. On the drive over, checked the balance of the card as per the instructions on the back - nil balance with no transactions. Luckily I kept my receipt. They apologised, and expected to load the card then. After our experience, we did not want to eat at Nandos anymore - I requested a refund. If they wanted to save face, and to turn our bad experience around, they should have credited our card with the amount we originally paid, and at least offered to give us the dinner that we missed out on - we didn't want a free meal BUT I would have gone from very angry to very impressed. But no, that option was not offered. I looked at all the previous reviews before deciding to list my experience...seems like service needs a bit of work on...along with training on how to load cards.

Slow service and they don’t wear gloves when handling food! The tables aren’t cleaned. Could be more efficient.

Very bad customer service, food served wrong and cold. The lady served us food wasnt professional to do her job. She was rude and looks like she want to stand there free,,,, definately not going back,,,,
