One of those places you come away from feeling good about the experience. The young gentleman serving was cheerful and helpful, and the battered barra and chips were cooked to perfection. Thanks so much for a very enjoyable Friday Fish'n'Chips.
$50 for lunch for 4 people and that has to be the worst fish and chips I've had in years. Calamari was tough, chips were undercooked and the fish batter was floury and the fish did not appeal for what they sold as 'whiting'. Ruined a special catch up with friends. TripAdvisor reviews were good, but it was not. Avoid at all costs. Edit: was there on Sunday, definitely the right business, one shop up from the roundabout with the bargain shop Price Busters on the left & an accountant on the right.
Don’t waste your time, poor service, the lady training the two girls had a rude manner. Sea scallops were a nice size and good to see battered sea scallops available on the menu however they had no flavour which was disappointing. Chips were dry. Fish was nice however batter was a bit too thick and slightly overcooked. Even if the food was good I wouldn’t return because of the service.

A very ordinary fish n chippery, reasonably priced meal deals which the counter staff got wrong twice and tried to overcharge me, failed to ask if I wanted battered or crumbed fish and just gave crumbed, DO NOT order the battered scallops, in fact, drive back down the road 43 minutes to Wondai and find Sakina's fish n chips, you can't go wrong there..
Best thick shakes I've ever had, I come at least once a week for them, sometimes more, and the servers are nice especially the young man who serves me. He has a beautiful smile and great eye contact. There was also this woman who was very polite and when faced with a large order of thick shakes she worked well under pressure. Truly great customer service, and even better thick shakes. This is a place you must visit.
lets start with i have worked in the fishing industry all my life managing fish processing plants so i was unsure about buying fish inland abit well i was very impressed the red emperor was a real country serve that tasted like it was caught the day before the chips where spot on the burger was huge and the flavor excellent. service was excellent its clear these guys know how to deliver a great quality product . great job ill be back
Way way over cooked, chips looked ugly and were not nice. Fish way over cooked, no salt, never again if no improvement
