I came in on Friday morning wanting a set of acrylic nails and was asked to come back in 20 minutes as they were busy. Upon coming back, the salon was still busy and I was asked to wait again, with four people still waiting ahead of me. After waiting an additional hour, I was finally seated. The whole service was very rushed. Nails were poorly shaped and not how I wanted, underneath they were very rough and weren't polished. My cuticles weren't pushed back and my nails already looked grown out after a day. Even though the pricing chart for acrylic nails said $55 for a full set, I was charged $75. I honestly just wanted to get out of there, and want to get these nails removed ASAP. I wouldn't go back.
Was in Brisbane over the long weekend so went in and got french tips. The first lady who did my actual nail shaping and put my tips on was fine. The second lady who did my french tips was absolutely terrible. I got brown tips and you can see two different browns because they second layer wasn't applied properly. I told her there was something ON my nail and she responded with 'that's okay' and so I have bubbles on my nail and a brown strip where it shouldn't be. She told me when my nails came out of the light box that I was done and then she ran her fingers over them and one was still sticky and she said to me 'BE CAREFUL, YOU BE CAREFUL' and then shoved my hand back into the light box. The NEXT morning after getting them done and they're already chipped. $100 for terrible service and terrible nails. Do not recommend.
I’ve been a customer for the last 3 months. Experiencing today how carelessly my natural nails had been ruined by heavily grinding them back when I asked for a gel removal. My natural nails have been left super thin and flexible normally are not. White sanded, large gouged lines and rough feeling is the description I can give to describe the surface of my nails currently. I wasn’t pleased with the lack of care and time taken to do the job properly and efficiently. Never going backService: Manicure
My friend and I came to get our nails done, I got an infill and she got her gel polish redone. I have been getting my nails done for a few years now and never had such a bad experience. Both of our sets were awful, to the point where they need to be redone elsewhere. The nail techs were all incredibly rough and the service was painful. They wouldn’t accomodate the colour I asked for, saying it wouldn’t work or would look bad, when I have had that combination at other salons many times over the years. My friends gel nails were lumpy and uneven. I had a nail that had to be replaced and if I looked at it from the side profile the shape doesn’t even nearly match the other nails.. as soon as I left the salon it was loose and wobbly. The service took far longer than expected. Not to mention, the cost was $20 more than any other place in chermside. They were also snickering and clearly talking about us to the girls next to us, of course we didn’t know what they were saying. Will not be going back and will not recommend to anyone. Rainbow nails is the best service I’ve found in chermside to date.Services: Nail painting
I have had two really great experiences at nail society Chermside I was very picky and changed my mind about what colour i wanted and then did not like the colour once painted on my nails, the nail tech was very nice and helped me decide on which colour i wanted and tried two options before deciding what I liked! Very patient and helpful! Also very good pricing
Don’t waste your money. I took my 6 year old daughter here today for us both to get pedicures. Her 5min “pedicure” cost $35. And my 15mins cost $45. As soon as they rushed us through they moved us out of the massage chair to move other customers in. Absolute worst service I’ve ever had in a nail salon. Never again.Service: Pedicure
Went in to get my nails done for a function. No prep work done, just roughly filed nails. As a result my nails look cheap and badly applied. I really want to take them off but I paid $70 so feel like it would be a complete waste. Not coming back here.Service: Acrylic nails
Worst place to get your nails done! Got my nails done and did such a horrible job, expressed I wasn’t happy with them and they offered me a discount. Once played the discounted amount the lady wasn’t happy with and decided to chase me out and down the shopping mall, continued screaming and grabbing me leaving massive scratch marks all over my arm! DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE EVEN IF YOUR DESPERATE!!!Services: Nail painting
