Worst Japanese Food in Melbourne. Enter at your own risk. Feels like a dodgy Chinese Restaurant. Customer service was dead... I came in alone to an empty restaurant and was placed in a corner facing a wall.. the table was sticky and unclean... the only thing on the table were those cheap wooden "snap" chopsticks... I ordered an Orange Juice.. the waitress brings out a small kitchen glass filled with watery Orange juice.. food came out in minutes and was very low quality and unfresh... zero authenticity... I couldn't wait to get out of there... never coming back.
Cute, quaint little place. The owners are typically Japanese, very polite and lovely. Great for my kids too. Would've given 5 but it's just a tad pricey like all good Japanese places..

Hidden suburban gem that's been there since 1987. Straightforward authentic Japanese, no steps to update cooking style and they do this very well. Very well priced including drinks list, Sapporo for $6! No split bills though

Kind girl serving, not too expensive but extremely over salted food, not tasty, unkind kitchen staff and the general atmosphere was plain.
This place had had some good reviews so our expectations were high. How disappointing. Very ordinary food lacking the usual Japanese delecate touch. Try elsewhere.

I've been ordering/ dining in at this restaurant for around 20years. Food ALWAYS fresh ALWAYS amazing. Friendly staff and very reasonable pricing. 5 stars for me.
An amazing place for a date night! The sashimi was delicious and the soy sauce came out in an adorable little tea pot. The teriyaki chicken was delicious as well as our noodles. The staff were friendly and the food came out quickly as well! I’m excited to go back again and try more food on the menu
