I rarely comment in Google, but I really had an unpleasant experience with a female customer service at Nab Mt Ommaney.nnRequested by the company, I need to do id identification at the branch.nnThe first time I went there, a lady serviced me. I said I want to verify my id. I am not sure if I said the correct thing, but she told me that I need to bring the card holder with me to the branch to get this done.nnAnyway, I checked with the company and an online Nab customer. They confirmed that there are no such requirements and just go and bring ID – Simple, so I went there again.nnThe same lady was there. I checked with her that there is no need to bring the card holder. She said, “I thought you want be an verifier.” Don’t know what it is, but anyway just want to get it done. This time her excuse was she cannot do the ID identification as the signing process is too long it turned out only 5 min. I asked how long it took approximately, and she didn’t say it clearly but added on that there are some people waiting in the line and she needs to serve them first. I was very confused, as I also waited and finally got my turn, however she did provide a solution – book an appointment at 2 pm. It was 11:18 am at that time, and I need come back in 2 and 40 min. I came to the branch between my work and asked if I can be booked a little bit earlier. She took a few minutes to explain the lunch break and roster and why they cannot do the ID identification. I can see a few people waiting and I don’t waste their time and ask if I can sign up a personal account myself. She said yes. Not sure why she didn’t provide this solution first and wasted everyone’s time there?nnAt the end, I took 3 min to get signed up using an iPad there and waiting another 10 min. During the process, a lovely young lady helped me, like check the message I got from Nab, explaining to another customer service etc. I got it done pretty quickly. Really appreciate their help and kindness.nnFor that old female lady, I really think her altitude and communication skills are poor and need improvement. The whole process with her was confused and got lost. She does not care about your time and experience. She only provide the information if you ask – like the online personal account signing or even wrong information - like the identification messed up with verifier….nnHope you don’t run into her and can be served by some other lovely customer service there.
Not so sure why the rating is so low. I walked in to try to get a loan. They got the Home Lending Specialist to see me in 10 mins and got my loan sorted on the same day. Service has been phenomenal and I highly recommended Reshma.
Meant to be open at 930, there's a queue of people at 10:10am waiting for the security doors to open. I was meant to have an appointment at 10am, and I have other things to do with my day other than standing around waiting for a place to open.
Is there an award for the slowest service from a branch? If so they must have it locked up for the last 10 years.
Some of the staff there are lovely, then you also have some who are quite rude to you, after ignoring you for a while, multiple cashiers just casually chatting to people without acknowledging they’ll be with you soon. Then being short with me with some of their answers.nnDon’t go here if you expect it to be a quick stop, it’s rare that you get in and out quickly, they only have Two tellers and the line goes out the door some days. Dealing with money is obviously something you don’t want to rush, fair enough, but get some more benches for other staff to look after the line up. If we’re all needing the teller there’s not much they can do just walking up to us in a line asking how they can help.nIt’s a common thing I hear there, people saying they’re slow and need more tellers. Even the staff acknowledge they need more tellers. Get with the program NAB.
