My family and I have seen dr Geetha for years and I highly recommend her! She is always willing to listen to the patients and provide thorough assessments. She only prescribes medications when it is really deemed necessary and always makes a doctor visit less-scary for my children. Some other doctors in this clinic, however, have different approach in seeing patients and are only interested in referring patients to specialists or have a really bad rational used of medicine. We’ll stick to seeing dr. Geetha from now on.
Super weird experience here. Called up to book an appointment and was told I couldn't come in as I hadn't taken a PCR test and RAT tests were not accurate, so I booked a phone appointment. I waited over an hour for them to call, and eventually had to call them instead. The receptionist told me she didn't understand why I booked a phone appointment, as I wasn't 'eligible' whatever that means?, but she'll go ahead with it anyway. She took my payment and explained I would get a rebate from Medicare. Dr Jun called 5 mins later, and the first thing he said was "you won't get any money back from this appointment just so you know." I told him the receptionist told me the opposite and that they should sort that out, and instead of apologising for the miscommunication he argued with me, telling me that the receptionist didn't tell me that and that she does know that I shouldn't get a rebate. I went on to tell him my symptoms and he continuously interrupted me and was rude. He was extremely judgemental when I told him I don't take contraception.
Weird experience. I’m still kind of in shock..? Receptionist was really lovely I had called earlier in the day and on arrival. Went in to see the Dr and the Dr did not want to write me a script for Toujeo slow acting insulin because it had Lantus also a slow acting insulin as an insulin I had taken many years ago in my file. The Dr said he was happy to write me the script but he had patients lie previously about what they were prescribed so he wanted a written letter stating I was now taking Toujeo. He then went into my file, updated contraception details and pointed at the screen to say see Lantus and re-explain why he didn’t want to write me a script and that he wanted a written letter. This was just a round about of the same thing over and over.He clearly would rather me go elsewhere, I only booked here as my GP moved practices to far away and I was in between looking for a new one. I eventually said should I just go somewhere else? And the Dr advised that I could do that if I wanted and gestured at the door. I walked out and checked with the receptionist that I wouldn’t need to pay as this was a total waste of time and annual leave. I have never had such a ridiculous and weird experience. Especially when a long lasting insulin is already existing on the file. I just went to the clinic down Sherwood Road and they were fine to give me the scripts I needed as every other clinic has done since I was 5 years old. Go elsewhere.
Dr Sandy Liu is highly recommended for everyone. My mum was recently transferred to this clinic and started seeing Dr Sandy Liu as her regular GP. Dr Sandy Liu has been very professional and very nice to consult with. She is excellent in her expertise as a doctor. Dr Sandy Liu was also very prompt in getting back to the patient if anything flagged her eyes in which the patient needed urgent further diagnosis. The prompt response from Dr Sandy Liu effectively saved mum's time alot for her further investigation for an acute event, which she could have missed out the 'golden' time for her treatment of the condition if she was still with the previous clinic. Again, a huge appreciation to Dr Sandy Liu, and I recommend she is one of the best doctors we have ever seen. Highly recommended.
this clinic didn’t tell me I need to see the doctor first and then I can get my treatment. On the phone they just told me come for an appointment to complete the procedure. My time is valuable!!! They should tell me when I made my appointment. It is so bad service to let me spend double time !!!!! Every time time is valuable
Went to see Ruban Sankar with my son. Surprisingly and unfortunately the most unprofessional doctor we have come across. Wouldn't even have a look at the problem to make a diagnosis and insecure when asked questions. Don't waste your time on this clinic.
Doctor Anna was unprofessional, difficult and somewhat judgemental, not worth your time. Didn’t listen to me, didn’t explain why she couldn’t take tests I requested, didn’t take my blood pressure, not helpful at all. Didn’t feel comfortable discussing my health with her. Won’t be going back to her again.
I highly recommend Dr Louise Gore-Jones, she is one of the best GPs I've met. She is thorough and takes the time to listen to my concerns. She is so friendly and I feel very comfortable with her. She's very knowledgeable and if there's anything out of her scope, she will happily refer to a specialist. I've recommended her to all my friends and family. I think the entire practice is well run, there is on site pathology, a nurse clinic, and lovely receptionists.
I had a dreadful experience at this practice on a Friday afternoon with a Dr Jun Xue. After treating a burn I was told I needed a Tetanus shot. I was made to wait in a seperate room in the practice, and when the nurse showed up she seemed surprised to see me. I don't blame the nurse for my bad experience however, as she was very nice and the fault did not appear to be hers. The nurse informed me there were no tetanus shots available, and when she brought doctor Jun back into the room for clarification on my situation, he said that I needed to get this shot within the next two days, but that the practice was not open on the weekend. What an utterly absurd situation. Shouldn't tetanus stock be check beforehand in such a situation? I was then given a prescription by the doctor for tetanus shots and told to come back, but all the pharmacies told me they weren't allowed to prescribe such items to me. I ended up going to another much better medical practice after searching for hours, where I was told I actually didn't need a tetanus shot for the treatment I received. Unnecessarily stress and wrong information for nothing. Will never be coming back to a joke of a clinic that charges an unseemly dollar amount for such mediocre service.
These guys have removed my review of Dr. Anna Dr Anna made me wait for 45 mins , didnt apologise and when I told her my problem she started laughing telling "If no one is able to help you, how do you expect me to help you" This triggered me so bad , that I wanted to slap her. I have suffered from IBS for 2 years and half years and everyday has been a struggle. save you time and health with some other doc.
