Ideally located in the heart of Melbourne, Myer offers a great variety of absolutely almost everything there is to shop. The store ambience is welcoming, staff are helpful and friendly. Definitely a must go to shop store.
I went in August. My visit was more about nostalgia than shopping. The old bargain basement is now the sports department - I guess there aren't enough bargains to warrant a permanent display like the old days. Up on the top floor I saw the old ballroom, which was gorgeous. All the stuff for sale in each department was just like any other Myer store - lovely products, usual priced tags, beautifully displayed and very helpful staff. Anyhow, it was kind of nice to walk through, after all these years.
This Myer in Brisbane is one of the nicest and biggest I’ve seen. There were escalators for going up or down and the place was very well structured with a couple cafes throughout. I was unable to find the item I was looking for…
Myer stylised MYER, sometimes known as Myers is an Australian mid-range to upscale department store chain. It trades in all Australian states and one of Australia's two self-governing territories. Myer retails a broad range of products across women's, men's, and children's clothing, footwear and accessories; cosmetics and fragrance; homewares; electrical; connected home; furniture; toys; books and stationery; food and confectionery; and travel goods.
The Myers in Melbourne central is pretty good! Clean, tidy and neat! Not the newest looking Myers but it’s definitely very stunning non the less! Staff aren’t the friendliest but that’s ok
Extremely busy on the lead up to Xmas, very limited stock on the shelves, difficult to find parking. Really enjoyed the Myer Xmas Peter Rabbit windows, just gorgeous
Located very centrally, this flagship store has everything you’d need. Being the flagship store, this place is huge, spanning across 9 storeys. There’s obviously plenty of stock and there are also some cafés inside. It seems to be newly renovated, so it’s nice to be in. Being connected to the Emporium and across the road from David Jones, it’s great for a big shopping day.
OK Myer has everything, nearly. What does it lack?? Staff who serve you. In homewares, went to counter put my goods down in front of N who proceeded to have a chat with other staff member who wandered over to have a chat. 3rd staff member also there. What was he doing?? He was looking at me. I leaned over counter and asked if any of the 3 were actually sering customers. Aaagggghhhh why is service in Australia in so many places so ordinary. OK aside from that brought heaps of homeware items on sale that of course I didn't need.
Very impressive 7 floors department stores where you can find nearly everything.
Went shopping for a shirt from Rodd&Gunn. Had amazing customer service from Ella! We were trying to find a smart casual sweater, and ended up looking at many different colours, in which she constantly had to look at the back for as there weren’t many in stock. Props to Ella for going back and forth to check for the sizing and colours available, and for being so patient with us. Very friendly and helpful service - would go back again in a heartbeat :
