I don't usually give reviews to music stores but felt I really have to write this one down. Really impressed and blown away by the level of service in this store been to other music stores in Welly but not so great experience. In fact I haven't experienced that kind of service in any music store I visited in my life, wow! Thanks to Peter for accommodating me when I bought an overdrive pedal. Enjoying my EHX OD now. Was looking for an entry level midi controller from here and Pete ? was so welcoming, happy to share his knowledge, and patient. He was very happy to listen to my current needs which other stores I visited did not, as they frequently tried to upsell me to more expensive gear I did not need at the moment. Best experience in a music shop I’ve ever had thanks so much!
While the prices here are a bit higher than other music stores in Wellington the staff here were really friendly and funny and were actually looking to help me out instead of just trying to sell me things I didn't need. Great service, great quality.

Very happy with the Outstanding and informative customer service and quality of workmanship provided and the materials used restringing our guitar at a very amazing price the guitar was also over the moon to be back to full strength with the tlc she was shown at music planet highly recommended store and not too imposing for novices like myself if I could give 6 stars I would thanks music planet your a real star !

The most professional music shop in Wellington. The owner knows his stuff very well and the staff are super friendly. I’m not only bought from them but also learned sound engineering knowledges from them.
The customer service at this store is out of this world. I came here today after having a bad experience at another music store and was blown away by the friendliness of, Peter. Will definitely go out of my way to shop here in the future!
10/10, they deserve more than 5 stars. Went in with next to no knowledge about electronic drum kits, and Will? sorted me out. Gave me honest opinions and advice about everything, didn’t give me a hard push to buy anything or extras, gave me a good deal, and had awesome people skills. Both of the workers that day were absolutely brilliant and I’m happy to have given them my money. Cheers guys.
