Relatively small reserve but with quite breathtaking scenery tucked inside, without telling where it is, the picture look like as if it's taken from some bush walk in the Coromandel, locate at the centre there is an open space with a few picnic tables, toilet locate near the entrance.
I like this park. There are not many places or streets with large trees in the Flat Bush area. There is a small track where you can walk 5min i am think. Unfortunately, you can’t walk there with a stroller, but I saw people having a picnic there. Great place to walk the dog. I gave it 4 stars because I saw rubbish there.
Very nice, clean and quite place in the middle of busy area. Can see and feel the nz bush preserved and the path made are really good, can't get lost and the arrows shows which way to go. Just love listening to the birds and nature.
So originally was hesitant to go as it's.. reputation is a bit seedy. But was really nice - looked to be well maintained and quite quiet for a public holiday
Great to escape the Auckland heat in the cool native trees. You'll come across nikau, kahikatea, totara, puriri, rimu and more. There are picnic tables and a toilet block by the car park.
Nice little spot for a short walk. The signage needs some updating!
Nice and easy hiking place , for beginners and advance.
Quiet and relaxing
Great place to take a walk through a small forest/bush. A few shirt trails that meet at the centre that has a big open space for gatherings and kids to play. Toilet facilities at the entrance and rubbish bins strategically located.
A cool little hide away from the busy city life.
