Glad I stumbled upon this reserve! So close to Botany and Manukau city, its an easy walk down to the beach or via the top on the grass lawn. Amazing views all round especially of the east coast! Its also a good reserve to go for a run or walk your dog. To see the various tracks, distance and walk times check out my pictures.
One of my favourite walks to do when needing a break from busy Auckland. Nice and peaceful, beautiful views. The walk is not too challenging but come equipped with water on a hot summers day and a full battery to capture scenic views.
Awesome location to have day out with the family. The area is beautiful, the walks are easy enough for most to be able to enjoy.
I could not find a reason not to like this place. Our first time there but thoroughly enjoyed the walk. Very shady and inviting . I intend to go back to explore more
A lovely little estuary mud flat tucked behind the suburbs. Within 5 minutes you are stransported into a semi rural New Zealand setting... Paths are well kept and fun.
It's very Excellent walking track and different to way to Shelly beach and Hayley track and beautiful friend Lookout view
Beautiful walking track, had a swim in the beach so nice lol, , Amazing lookouts on the track, The Ngati Tai and Ngati Paoa people sold these lands over to the European people name Somerville which they name the road after, who cultivated and farmed these lands, to enjoy the lovely tracks we enjoy today and many more years to come.
I go there twice a week and go a good 5.5 kms up & down.. Good walk
Walk from beach to beach. Very steep in places with lots of steps.well marked.
