Great off leash area to walk your dog in the middle of the city. Mostly open fields with cows with lots of trails plus new ones and a lookout being built so a little exposed in the sun and wind. Nice shaded stream walk replete with river eels. Trails can be pretty muddy after rain and pretty much the entirety of winter. Barely any bins along the route but seems to be kept clean.
Loved this walk. Did not feel like I was even in the city any longer. Nice long walk, no cover on a sunny day it is open grasslands. Easy walking. Dog friendly. Small carpark.
Good place to walk the dog but during lockdown the narrow path at the bottom makes it hard to distance, would not recommend doing that part during lockdown.
A little park, great for a quick walk, mostly on boardwalk, with your unleashed dog : It looks the council is building couple of new tracks these days to be ready by summer 22/23.
Fantastic park/farm for a walk.. Dogs and kids can run around, definitely doesn't feel like you're in a big city. Plus great views in, all directions
Wonderful farm style walk. Our pup loved being off leash, met some lovely people and dogs. Cows unconcerned with dogs and people. Lots of seating and NO rubbish. 45min visit.
Green Bastion amongst suburbia. Great general walking area for dogs, kids and family. Complete with cows

What a fantastic place to take your dog off leash for a walk in Auckland. Thank you to the people who give their free time and energy making this park the success now and in the future, plus the other owners of their well behaved dogs.
