Very nice gelato! I can highly recommend getting the black Forrest! I would also say that i would recommend getting 2 or 3 Scoops as the first scoop is basically 80% of the price. I see this more often in new Zealand and it really baffles me as back home the first scoop is a lot cheaper and every scoop above that adds around the same to the price as the first scoop.
Quite disappointed by the flavours. It was tasting more sugar than the flavour itself. They should stick with what they know to do the best, which is their burgers.
If you still have room after your visit in Ferg Burger next door, definitely do make a visit to Mrs Ferg. Soooo many different flavours of ice cream. All of them were very tasty, milky and creamy. I had the hazelnut flavour, it was so rich and the hazelnuts were crunchy. They also do shakes, smoothies and juices. Overall, reasonably priced.
The ice cream served in Mrs Ferg Gelateria is just fantastic The number of different flavours, quality of the ice cream - really awesome Best ice cream I had in New Zealand while travelling both islands for 6 weeks It can also compete with the best Italian Gelato, which I had in Italy
Yum! Lemon Meringue gelato is the best. I would've liked to have sat instore and enjoyed it but not everyone wants to listen to pop music at full volume
Lack of integrity with the opening hours. Was told it will open until 3:30pm today. I got here at 3pm, but closed at 2:30pm. When I asked the staff why the notice on the window yesterday said 3:30pm today, she just told me ohh it was decided by the chef. This shop is spoiled and takes everyone’s praise for granted. People are here mostly for holiday and have plans and schedules. Joking and playing up with the business hours is not fun. I would just turn around the corner and get ice creams from Patagonia! You are easy replaceable.

Amazing ice cream /sorbet that would easily give Patagonia a run for its money. Shame they aren’t open the same hours…
Really good gelateria with a lot of choice. There is also a backery next to the ice store.
Dropped in about 11am to beat the crowds. Awesome gelato at very reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
