My experience thus far has not been a disappointment. But my review is not exactly stellar. The mouth feel and crunch of the chips was splendid but needed a sauce or perhaps more salt to cover the oily after taste. Despite this I would suggest Mr. Chippy if you are looking for a casual cup but for the chip enthusiasts you should perhaps look elsewhere.

$7 for a serving of below-par chips only the size of a KFC large. $1 extra for a sad serving of reject gravy scraped from the bottom of the jug. Chicken salt carelessly dumped on top, we had to mix it through ourselves (which I might not have minded, had we not payed nearly $10 for some chips). The chips were generally crunchy and tasty for the most part, however a few of them tasted so bad they had to be spat out and nearly induced vomitting. A business' products should reflect their prices: high prices for high quality product, or low prices for low quality product. Mr. Chippy's asks a very high price for such a low quality product. Let's hope that they can improve their product to match their price, or lower their price if they are to stay in business.

Just bought fish and chips from this place have been there several times before food was ok today the chips were cold the fish more like rubber calamari overcooked very poor seems to have gone down will not bother going there again.
