A Chinese noodle restaurant well known for their beef noodle and dumplings! Went here with my friends and ordered bunch of food. Everything looks so good here and I had hard to choose my food. Staff was very friendly and service was good. Price is quite reasonable for their food. Overall, great place!
Quick service. Dumplings are really good. Can eat indoors. Deep fried pork belly is amazing. Our party of 6 think the sweet and sour pork is the best we've had. Tom yum fried rice is really good They accept NSW Dine vouchers. For 6 people our bill was only $132.00 before the voucher discount.
Loved their mixed noodles with pork mince and wontons. Add some chilli and black vinegar and that is one hearty meal!! It was superbly delish!! Side dishes were nice as well. Soup in noodle soup was flavourable and satisfying. Unfortunately for me by the time I tried the noodles in the soup Childs leftovers, it was at that stage very soggy and mushy but I’m sure it would have been nice if it didn’t sit for so long. Again my mixed noodles were fab and highly recommended. Pork chop touched the right spot. Be cautious with the deep fried tofu as it’s extremely hot when biting into it. Fried dumplings were average.
Chinatown has lots of touristy restaurants all show and no substance but this little authentic place is all about Chinese food. Certainly not fancy,it’s fast and furious but we loved it ..especially the home made noodles and dumplings
Had this place on the list for a while to try and overall quite pleased. Noodle dishes are great also but had already started eating before a photo but was great. The Calamari and dumplings were a great choice also. Would reccommend stopping by and giving a go if you are looking for somewhere to eat.
Cheap and cheery. Beef noodles were great. Eggplant dish was very yum forgot to take a photo. A little on the saltier side.
All the dishes were amazing!! Loved the salt pepper tofu & calamari. Fried rice also hit the spot

Good quality food and very friendly service. The waitress provided scissors when seeing us sharing noodles, which is usually a messy process.
The spicy wonton noodles was amazing! The dumplings and vegetarian spring rolls were just as amazing. Awesome service too - staff were very friendly! Update: visited Mr. Chen's again the second time one year later and ordered calamari and beef noodle soup this time - they were also good!
