Desperately seeking leather sandals on a Sunday. Of course used Google Maps. I had a spur on the side of my left big toe giving me 10/10 pain. I lived in the Hawthorn / Box Hill areas mid 1960’s to 2012 so purchased shoes previously. An excellent welcome from a former TV industry employee. I limped to the comfy seat and while serving others I was asked if I was okay - nice start! The second option was perfect as it relieved the pain completely. Got on so well that I received a discount ‘for being such a nice Man! nice to be acknowledged for being myself! EXCELLENT!
Trudi provided excellent customer service when I brought my elderly mother in to buy a pair of shoes. She listened carefully to our needs and was able to match these with the perfect pair of shoes, which she then helped to fit properly for Mum. Absolutely excellent customer service - to a level that exceeded my expectations. Highly recommended.
May be I need to dress more fancier. Go to the store to get a new shoe sort of remember there was different kind from last time purchase there were no other customers and two staffs. After look at the shoes for 15 minutes ,no one came over for any help the day was hot I must have put on invisible spray on took the displayed shoe to ask for right sizes. After found the right size and paid ,told the price today was 250, question that as the display tags on the shoe was 239. It must be my lucky day for price inflation rather than discount .Still the staff still unconvinced , had to go to the shoe section to check the price where it was shown either 239 or 240. Finally he realised none was 250 then checked the computer and said 240 still a dollar more without any apologies or reasons. I just too tired to argue for the extra dollar. Probability last time to go there , I might even get better service at Myer which is rare. Sorry for this review, I probably wouldn't rate this if I wasn't ask in the docket.

Mountfords in Hawthorn is a spacious store with a wide range of styles. My daughter and I received exceptional service from Trudy. Trudy has an excellent product knowledge and was able to suggest shoes which both met my daughter's particular needs and are stylish. We bought two pairs! The colours we wanted were not available in store so Trudy arranged for them to be posted to us free of charge. A very satisfying shopping experience.
Very friendly staff and wide range of shoes. This will now be my go to shop for shoes.

Great place to get all good quality shoes from different brands Wild Rhino, Rock port , merrells etc. Price is similar to the outlets
