Mike has a professional approach to physiotherapy, he takes his profession very seriously. I went to him after recovering from a serious wrist and hand injury. After having treatment from various other therapists, Mike was the only one that showed compassion and a keen interest in treating my condition, so much so, that the therapy sessions I had from Mike showed great improvement in the recovery. I recommend going to see Mike for your physiotherapy needs.
I have been a patient of Mikes for over 10 years following three surgeries on my lumbar spine. I have suffered with back pain since 2003 and Mike has been the only physio that I would allow to treat my back. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient focussed and has a hands on approach. He has a holistic approach to treatment whereby he is treating you as a person rather than just your symptoms. He will always discuss treatment options with you, the number of sessions that you are likely to require and will provide you with exercises which you can do at home to further supplement your treatment. He is recommended by numerous consultants as he is extremely professional, amicable and up to date clinically. I have recommended Mike to various family members and friends and they have all been extremely impressed with the treatment they have received. I can’t thank Mike enough for all the input he has given me. He comes highly recommended.
I called on Mike to guide me through my recovery from a full hip replacement. His understanding of my needs was instant following a brief telephone call. He was willing to provide a home first visit and came across as knowledgeable and understanding of my needs. I was reassured and put at ease whilst being informed of relevant challenge. Subsequent visits have proved equally as valuable. His help and advice comes at a fair price. Value for money!
I have had physio on and off for 30 years for problems with my neck and shoulder following a car accident. MT Physio has provided the most effective treatment I have ever had. The exceptional level of care I receive from Mike Tuck started with his careful questioning and massage during visits, then extends to the menu of exercises he provides and the way he monitors progress and provides updates. I have never had such a positive course of treatment. The results increase in movement and reduction of pain are highly motivating and prompt me to keep up with my home exercises! Mike's sensitive and ethical approach to his work with clients is exemplary. Me and other women friends who visit him have commented to one another that we feel safe and completely respected during our visits.
I can not recommend Mike highly enough! As another medical professional I took my mother to visit him as well as myself. She finds difficulty in walking & I could see he was assessing her walking as he came to get us from the waiting room. He’s also been very kind, patient, fully explaining & understanding of conditions and getting to know how they effect you as a whole to get the treatment right for you personally. He is very gentle which with pain conditions is even more important. We have recommended him to everyone, which I only do if I fully trust someone medically as it reflects on my own practice & honestly is the best physio I have met and I’ve worked with a few. I trust him with my family my husband and brother have gone already friends & patients as he also won’t keep seeing you if he can not help & will refer on to get the help you need if there is anyone else who can help. It’s wonderful to find someone who listens and tailors treatment to you rather than sticking with best practice as we are all individuals and your body might need to work up to being able to cope with that and he will encourage, support and give advice with that too. I feel he cares and really wants to help you get better and improve your life.
Mike is more than just a physio, we call him Magic Mike as he seems to be able to fix anything we throw at him. Over the years he has sorted out tennis elbows, back spasms, knee pain, weak ankles, ham strings and hip replacements so far. My whole family has been treated by him ranging in age from 84 down to 13. Mike has a very sympathetic and calm manner which immediately puts you at ease. He has a hands on approach unlike most physiotherapists I have been treated by and doesn't just give you exercises to do at home. He gives deep tissue massage and acupuncture to speed up recovery and has an online exercise plan so he can see how you are progressing between each appointment. Mike was also instrumental in getting my 84 year old mother back on track after complications with her hip replacement.
Both my husband and myself have been seeing Mike on our daughters recommendation. I had an old shoulder injury, which in the past I had seen various professionals about but to no avail. Mike gave a new insight as to what was going on with it and as a result, it is so much improved! My husband had a balance problem as a result of an ear infection. Again, Mike was able suggest specific exercises for his condition also which really helped and greatly reduced his imbalance. We have no hesitation in recommending Mikes practice. He’s extremely professional but also has a good sense of humour
Mike is an outstanding physiotherapist with the ideal combination of intelligence, experience and practical advice. Explanations are clear and helpful and exercise regimes well considered. Sympathetic and encouraging, he is immensely supportive. I recommend him unreservedly.
I have seen Mike now for a few sessions treating me for a long term injury which is improving thanks to the physio techniques used combined with the exercises given. Such a knowledgeable respectful person. I certainly highly recommend.
Mike provides a very friendly, professional experience. He does not try to push further appointments and only suggests a follow up if necessary. I had been suffering for a long time with a debilitating sciatica. After one visit my condition improved. I followed the recommend exercises and within a week I was without any pain. I cannot recommend Mike enough!
