I badly injured my lower back while I was half way through my pregnancy. I am so thankful for the amazing physios that helped me get stronger to help the injury and to prepare my body for delivery. The name, Family Physio truly fits the business and team working there and I always feel welcomed and looked after. Highly recommend for all the pregnant mums to be! :
I started coming to Family Physio when they began their strength training classes 6 weeks ago. This was all new to me but has been the best decision for my own health and fitness goals. With a back injury it was imortant to have expert advice with getting correct movements and posture. I love coming to class every morning, the physio team are so welcoming, adapting any workout to suit my body’s needs and provide great support to reach goals. The results have been amazing and something I never saw in another gym environment. I also book in when needing a one on one consult for an injury and recieve 5 star service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else and continue to reccomend them to others in the Papamoa community!
Family Physio is a super supportive group training gym that offers tailored classes run by trained Physiotherapists who ensure your form or technical level and ability are adjusted to your goals. Friendly and approachable team with the bonus of being able to take baby along has made getting back into exercise a great experience!
I've been doing the strength classes for a couple of months now and never dreamed of being able to lift the weights I have done in the past few weeks! Having physios show me each exercise, modifying to suit my injuries and critique me along the way is absolute gold and I cannot recommend the team enough!!!!
I went to family physio with pain in my wrist and lack of mobility. Darkos rehab and strengthening exercises have completely restored my mobility and I am now pain free. Many thanks to him and highly recommended
Nicole has been AMAZING with my injury, she takes her time to holistically look at the entire picture, she wrote a programme for me at the gym and then I have attended classes, my body has responded so well and I’m back playing netball and tennis, use this Physio team you will not be disappointed, definitely 5 stars all around
Family physio are great I've worked with both Nicole and Darko on multiple injuries and their support, patience and expertise was exactly what I was looking for.
